Continue game play

Collect the first crystal. After game play ends, hold Left and press Start at the title screen to continue from the last location played.

Bonus points

Defeat a Boss, collect the crystal ball, and intentionally lose the current life. Hold A before continuing to collect extra points.

Special Point Award

Here's an easy way to rack up mega-points on Secret Castle! Get the Crystal Ball and then die on purpose. Before continuing, hit either fire button (use a turbo stick for this one) and your score will soar into the stratoshpere!

Hidden Continue

To resume your adventure after you have lost your life in Secret Castle, use this helpful tip. Defeat the first level Boss, grab the crystal and you will be able to continue once you die by pushing the pad left and then pressing 'Start'.
