Tail's Sky Patrol

Tail's Sky Patrol is an old-school platformer for Game Gear in which players need to help a brave little fox to free all the animals enslaved by an evil sorceress.

Plot

Tales was flying over the ocean, and accidentally discovered a strange island. Upon landing, he finds a train of carriages. Hiding in one of them, he waits for the witch Wendy to appear. It turns out that he is able to turn living creatures into colorful precious crystals. She already has quite a few unfortunate beasts at her mercy. Free the captives, avoiding the dangerous traps and minions of the evil witch!

Gameplay

This game was originally conceived as a Mickey Mouse adventure to fight the villains of the Disney Universe. But the rights were bought by Sega, who quickly remade the project into a spin-off about Tales. That's why there are so many differences from the classic Sonic games, such as no main antagonist Dr. Robotnik, and no need to collect gold rings.
