Game Reviews

Published by SNK Corporation of America and developed by SNK Corporation this alternating one to four-player arcade game was released in 1988.

A player can select between the four golfers, each one having his/her advantages and disadvantages. Lee Trevino is playable as a character named Super Mex. The others are Little Amy, Miracle Chosuke and Big Jumbo.

The game play was quite unsophisticated, without storylines and off field strategizing common of sports games today. The player had to keep away from sand traps, water hazards, rough ground and trees. Well, the terrain takes in s tee, green, fairway, out-of-bounds, water, sand (light and hard), and rough (super, light, heavy and deep) The game modes are Stroke, Nassau Game, Practice, Swing mechanics.

When the game came to an end, the player was greeted with a photo realistic shot of the country club lodge on the background of the setting sun, and surrounded by trees.
