If you are looking for a game that allows you to help the animal kingdom, then you might want to keep an eye on Games Incubators’ upcoming 2021 release, Animal Shelter. There is already a demo out and we have given it a shot to see what we think, and we have to say that we are very impressed. It looks to be the kind of game that animal lovers will absolutely adore.

In short, you will be in a situation whereby you want to help animals get back on their four legs after a period of challenge. In Animal Shelter, your job is to build up your shelter, give the animals plenty of care and attention, and keep them happy. This means breaking up fights, feeding them, and even dealing with more than just dogs. From alligators to more, Animal Shelter has a lot of content included already that should make you want to save every stray in the world!

An interesting Idea

While games like Surgeon Simulator 2 might offer similar aesthetics, there is far more management and day-to-day control in a game like Animal Shelter. It offers a smart 3D world with highly impressive visuals, and plenty of opportunity to have fun. From a first person perspective you will walk around the facility, helping the animals, breaking up fights, taking them for walks, cleaning them etc.

As you get more people coming to your shelter, it is your job to convince someone to take one of the animals from your shelter and adopt them. Basically, you take in strays and rescues and rebuild their living quality and their sense of self to the point where an owner would be keen to have them in your life.

Over time, you get a bigger budget and can slowly but surely build up the quality of your facility. This means adding more space, more features, more personal time for the pets, and more amenities to keep them happy. It’s a game about balance, convincing NPCs, and maintaining your facility.

The wholesome management game we all need

Pets are, for many of us, the lifeblood of our day. Spend time with your beloved pet and you can always be in a better mood. In this game, you get to enjoy the rewarding task of rebuilding the lives and confidence of pets from all around the area.

This is a game that asks you to be very courteous and very empathetic to the animals, which can be a great reason to keep coming back for more.

• Gratifying progressing system that makes helping out rewarding
• Excellent system for progression and building up your animal shelter

• Not sure how much depth/animal quantity there will be in the final release
