Overwhored

I saw the title of Overwhored and thought it was going to be a lewd version of a popular hero shooter that many of us know and love. Well, that is not the case at all. What we have here is a lewd RPG and a pretty damn solid one at that. It ticks most of the boxes for what makes a good XXX RPG and I had a lot of fun playing through this. It has been in development for a long time, but having played it recently, I think that it offers more than enough fun to make it worth your time checking out.

That’s How I Like To Be Woken Up!

Overwhored tells a story that is set in a fantasy land. Our main character is a warrior that is called the Overmind and he wants to rule and bang chicks. He is an immortal warrior, but he was defeated and after a long slumber his loyal subjects have awoken him by rubbing their boobs in his face! I thought that this was a great way to start the game and it made me think that I was in for some kind of fantasy comedy.

Getting To The Point

While I did not mind the story that was being told in Overwhored at all, I do think that they could have leaned into the humor a lot more. What is here is pretty solid as far as the writing goes, but many of the characters never feel like they have anything super interesting going on. I do not want to say that it is bland, but I think a bit more humor and a bit more character development to make some of the characters more interesting would have gotten me way more invested in the story.

Getting Ready For A Fight

Overwhored is made with RPG Maker and the gameplay is a pretty solid example of how to do a lewd RPG Maker game right. You have different areas to explore, items to find, people to chat with, and all of the stuff you would expect in a lewd RPG. There is a real emphasis on combat here and the combat is probably my favorite part of the game. You get into fights all of the time and the turn based combat offers just enough challenge to keep you on your toes, but without it being frustrating. It may seem like a by the numbers RPG to many people, but I enjoyed my time with this and had the urge to keep on playing for just a little bit longer each time I fired it up.

Fantasy Loving

I am a big fan of the way the game looks. Overwhored has art that was done by a few popular lewd game artists. The game has a very colorful look to it and I think that the characters look way more interesting than they actually are. The XXX content is a lot of fun, there is one scene with this little pixie chick that I loved as it reminded me of a scene from the TV show, Gen-V.

The gameplay stuff is very much your typical RPG Maker style, but one thing that did surprise me was the music. It was very upbeat and I found myself enjoying it and not muting the game once while I was playing it.

Pros:

• I liked the fantasy setting of the game
• It has some fun XXX scenes
• The combat was something that I enjoyed a lot
• That sex scene with the pixie/fairy was awesome

Cons:

• While it is good, nothing majorly stands out
• I wish that the story was a bit more on the funny side
