OzMafia!!

When it comes to enjoying games, we have so many options that it can be tough to work out what is and is not for us. If you are someone looking for a more female-oriented game, you might find the market shrinks somewhat. The market shrinks even more, though, when you start to look for games like OZMAFIA!!. This popular visual novel by Managamer might share similarities with other popular visual novels like the Vampire: The Masquerade series, but it has bundles of its own personality and charm.

Is it for you, though?

Starting out in a new place. Like many visual novels, OZMAFIA!! Begins with our protagonist stuck in a rather confusing place. she’s in a new land with no memory at all of who she is, how she got here, or anything else. She even avoids being killed by the first person she meets in this strange, unique world. However, the story soon shifts when, as she escapes through the streets, our protagonist bumps into a man named Oz.

Oz is the head of the local mafioso, and he soon chases off her attacker and takes the protagonist under his wing. From there, things begin to get even weirder (if that were possible), and it creates a really enjoyable, exciting story that should have you sitting back and taking in every word, interaction, and moment that takes place.

Emotional and Detailed

OZMAFIA!! Might have a rather confusing name, but the actual quality of the writing is excellent. While the Famiglia Oz, her new mafioso family, is just part of the mafia system in town, our heroine soon finds herself battling against all manner of confusing, dangerous incidents and people.

The most interesting part of the story, though, stems around Sundays. On every Sunday, the town returns to its normal state as if nothing had happened. A mutual agreement means that the battles stop as if they never began, yet by Monday return to the same bloodshed and brutality that was seen for the rest of the week.

The story is filled with rich changes that you might find quite confusing at first, and the pace can certainly take some time to get moving at parts. However, the overall style of the writing and the story means that you should have no problem in enjoying this most interesting of visual novels.
