Love n War: Hero by Chance 2

“A tactical RPG with exciting battles and hot girls” is one of the ways the developers are describing Love n War: Hero by Chance II! That right there got me interested in this as did the fact it was also tagged with the “tower defense” tag. I decided to take a closer look at this one and let you guys know if I think it is any good and worth your time checking out. It has some gorgeous looking graphics that is for sure, but does the gameplay manage to match it?

Previously On….

I will admit that even though Love n War: Hero by Chance II has a 2 in the title, I had never actually heard of the first game. However, I do not feel it is essential to have played that before jumping in here. Basically, what we have here is a fantasy story where this evil empire called the Drogakad is trying to enforce their will over the land and you are trying to build and manage a team of brave and very hot warriors to fight them off.

It Is Not Easy Being At The Top

Even though you may think that Love n War: Hero by Chance II is the kind of game that is just trying to get by with its super hot ladies. This is actually a very deep tactics-based RPG. I have played the hell out of the demo and even in that limited state you still have a lot to manage. You have to manage your finances and resources, plan your attack layouts, upgrade and improve your various units and also manage the heroes that have a real connection to you too. There are even sieges that you can do as well. If you took away the great looking characters, this would still be a damn fine tactical RPG in my opinion.

I Need A Hero!

Of course, with a game like, Love n War: Hero by Chance II, your heroes that you can put out onto the battlefield are really where the fun is at. As I said, I was not familiar with the first game, but we have three awesome heroes that are showcased here in the Dragon Queen, Cecilia, and a very busty Military Strategist. Getting the best out of these ladies is key to managing the battlefield, but they all seem to have a real personal connection to you as well which I think is very interesting.

Taking The Crown From The Dragon!

Remember that tremendous action RPG from a few years back Dragons Crown? Well, that is the kind of vibe I am getting from the visuals in Love n War: Hero by Chance II. It has a classic fantasy kind of vibe to it all and it is nice, bright and certainly very “anime” it has some of the best looking heroes that you will ever see in a tactics game, heroes whose boobs seem to jiggle like crazy just when they move an inch or two! In all, I am a massive fan of the art style here and it is the kind of game that would be perfect for them to make an art book of.

Pros:

• I love the presentation of this game
• It has some very attractive fantasy looking, ladies!
• The tactical RPG gameplay is way deeper than you would think
• I do not think you need to have played the first one to get into this

Cons:

• It could perhaps do with a few more heroes
• If tactical RPGs are not your thing, you may not get into this
