The World of Gangs is a very graphic lewd RPG that has some amazing art that really did capture my attention. I ended up going down a real rabbit hole with this one as I was so drawn in by the visuals. As the game is looking to be one of the top lewd RPGs of 2024, I wanted to take a little moment to give the game a bit of attention and share my thoughts on the stuff that I think is fantastic and the stuff that I think could do with being worked on a little bit to help it live up to its potential.

The Ruler Of A New World

The World of Gangs is a game that has been translated and let me tell you, the translation is a bit on the rough side as I write this. I had to read the synopsis of the story here about three times and I am still not 100 percent sure of what they are trying to say. The basics are that the world was pure chaos until a stone fell into the ocean and a new world was created. A powerful female warrior took it upon herself to make the land in her image, bring peace, and stuff like that. That is the basics of what set up this world.

Preparing For War

The main characters in The World of Gangs (from what I understand at least) are a pair of feisty chicks that are exploring this land as a huge gang war has broken out. The term “gang” is kind of weird as it has a feudal Japanese almost fantasy look about it all. From the title alone, I thought we were getting some kind of gritty New York type setting. I think that there could be something cool with this story, but the translation is so rough, that I think it may be hard to follow.

A Clash Of Styles In The Best Way

Let me get to what drew me to The World of Gangs and that is the visuals! The game is done in a kind of pixel art style as you would expect from a lewd RPG these days. It has a lot of charm to it and I think that it is all done very well. However, the CG and story stuff here is incredible! The quality of the art is amazing here, I was so impressed and while the character proportions are a tad on the exaggerated side, I do not think that they are too over the top. They manage to give the characters a ton of personality and the sex scenes are even animated and move very smoothly.

Staking Our Claim On The Land!

Gameplay wise, The World of Gangs has just an absolute ton of potential. We need to explore the land where we can find treasures, fight enemies, and get better and better equipment as we progress through the game. You can get new skills for your character by completing a range of side quests which of course are going to help you become stronger in battle. The way the story progresses is very interesting as the game gives you some options where you can make it so that all of the promiscuous banging is not showcased and it has a more “love” kind of story.

Even though the story from what I have experienced is near impossible to follow. The World of Gangs still managed to grab me with those amazing visuals and to be honest with you, while I have been mostly praising and getting all giddy about the amazing presentation that the game has. However, I feel that the RPG gameplay here is pretty solid and always has you moving forward by giving you better equipment and new moves to use in battle.
