Cabin Corpse

While I can see that Cabin Corpse is not the kind of game that would appeal to everyone, I had a lot of fun with this and found it to be a charming and intriguing experience. This is not the “horror” game that I thought it would be, but it was a pretty solid mystery that got its hooks into me pretty early on and I was compelled to keep on playing so I could know what the hell is going on. It is full of some of the standard lewd game cliches, but I am not going to hold that against it.

The Cabin In The Woods

I do not know why, but I am a sucker for a story that takes place in a cabin in the woods. Cabin Corpse sees us playing as a dude who has no memory of where he is. Yes, this is an amnesia kind of game. We end up coming across a strange cabin that has other people staying in it and we are basically trying to piece together where we are, why we are here, and what the deal with this strange place is. It is very character driven and with the way the story is presented, you are never sure who can be trusted and who cannot.

Not The Sharpest Tool In The Box

I will admit that Cabin Corpse does not exactly have the deepest characters I have ever played around with in a lewd game. Our MC pretty much follows anyone anywhere! You have no idea where you are or who anyone is, but you will still follow the hot chick into the woods…. To be honest, I would do exactly the same thing. Even though some of the writing is a bit cheesy and b-movie like, I think it works and it gives the game a kind of charm that appealed to me.

Getting Lost In The Woods

I am still not sure exactly what category I should put Cabin Corpse in. In many ways, it is a lewd sandbox game. You have stat points, you have to build relationships, and so on, but the game is also very linear and you do not get to make any of what I think are important or story shifting choices. The game makes you go where it wants you to go and some things like the stat points at the start are weird because I never came across any part of the game where I was able to get more stat points! I think that they may have been better at cutting the sandbox elements as they are kind of half-baked. They are not spoiling the game or anything like that, but I think the game could have been better if it just went down the visual novel route.

I love the character designs in Cabin Corpse! The chicks in this game are all amazing and I love the more realistic look that the game has. If you are a butt person (which I am very proud to say that I am) you will love this game as it has some of the most epic booties you will ever see! There is one scene with a chick backing it up onto the dude's face that blew my mind! Now, for as great as that scene I just mentioned was, it would have been even more epic if the game had motion! It is all still images and while they do look fantastic, I wish that they gave some of the sex scenes some animation.

Pros:

• I loved the cabin in the woods setting
• The ladies in this game are very easy on the eyes!
• If you are a booty lover, you will love this game!
• I liked the cheesiness of some of the dialogue

Cons:

• The sandbox elements feel pointless
• The story is not going to click with everyone
