Her Heart's Desire: A Landlord Epic

With a title like Her Heart's Desire: A Landlord Epic I had to play this just so I knew what the hell this game was. It turns out what we have here is a lewd visual novel game, but one with a super dark twist that I feel if it was not there, this would have been a game that I actually really enjoyed! To be fair, I think the bones for a decent lewd visual novel are here with this game, but there are just a couple of big things that made the experience something that was not really for me.

What An Idiot!

The main character that we play as in Her Heart's Desire: A Landlord Epic is a freaking moron, there is no other way to describe this guy. The setup for the whole story is that this guy is a successful writer, so successful that he is able to buy a house! He buys a house outright and then the first thing he does is take a mortgage on it??? What??? That makes zero sense, but it is just a plot device so he has to rent out two available rooms to help him pay the mortgage…. A mortgage he didn’t need to take in the first place.

Fours Company

The first girl that you meet in Her Heart's Desire: A Landlord Epic is a cute 18 year old that wants to rent one of your rooms. She has an instant attraction to you and wants to jump your bones right away. The next day, two cute sisters (who are also half-siters with the first girl) want to take the next room and wouldn’t you know it, they want to bang you as well. Talk about a dream situation am I right? I will say it is neat that you can change the names of the characters so I give them credit for that.

They Can’t Be…. Can They?

The idea of being a landlord and having three cute sisters that want you is great. Her Heart's Desire: A Landlord Epic no matter how it gets to this point, has a premise I can get with, but there is a big twist here and granted it may be a spoiler, but you need to be warned. Turns out that all three of these girls are orphans and wouldn’t you know it, you are their daddy! Why??? If this was not the case, I would have gotten a real kick out of this story, but this just turned me off. Granted this is all make believe or whatever, but it just feels so unnecessary.

Who Is The Unlucky Girl?

Her Heart's Desire: A Landlord Epic has different endings for you to achieve. You can try and just “romance” one of the girls and get a more individual ending with just one of them. Or, you can try and go for the harem ending where you get to have all three. The choices are very easy to figure out and the game to be fair does not have a ton of filler content and gets to the XXX stuff pretty quickly. There is a decent amount of animated sex scenes (and general scenes) as well as static images.

Pros:

• The characters are cute
• The animation in the game is pretty good
• There are multiple endings
• It is easy to know what choice is the right one for what you want

Cons:

• The incest thing is just horrible and feels forced
• The MC comes across as the biggest moron in the world

Her Heart's Desire - A Landlord Epic is a dating simulation game in which you will understand the benefits of owning a large house.

Plot

The player gets the role of a writer who has become successful at the age of 43. With the money from the sale of his last novel, he managed to buy a large house. Now it's time to relax, and make a profit from renting out rooms. The first to respond to your ad was a lovely blonde student named Daisy. Within a week she was in your bed. It seems that the former writer has entered into the taste - the house appear bartender Vanessa, Elizabeth businesswoman, red-haired model Rosie, fitness instructor Lily and the dark-skinned dancer Naomi. Which one of them will you seduce?

Gameplay

The developers from Big Chungus Productions followed all the canons of the visual novel genre while making their creation.

Pros:

• Hot female characters
• You'll have 5-6 choices when choosing a phrase, not 2-3 as usual
• Realistic graphics

Cons:

• Sex between housemates, too much of a recurring theme for porn games
