Jumble Strikers

I was not sure what to expect with Jumble Strikers, but it ended up being a solid lewd RPG that I played all the way through. The good news here is that the game is completed so there is no waiting around for any kind of update to happen here. However, the game is not a massive slog, only taking around 4 to 5 hours to play through. This makes it a perfect lewd RPG for you guys that love games of this style but do not have 20 plus hours to sink into them.

A Buggy Mess!

No, I am not talking about the gameplay of Jumble Strikers, but the story is one that features a ton of creepy and lust filled bugs! The main character is a princess called Rin who escapes a kidnapping attempt and then realizes that other people have been kidnapped. What exactly is going on here? Well, that is for you to find out as you play the game and the story has a time travel element where someone from the future comes back to stop bugs from taking over. I love stuff like this. the story was decent enough and the translation was not bad so it was easy to understand.

Normal Is The Best

Let me ask you a question. Have you played a lewd game with RPG Maker before? Chances are if you are into lewd games, you have. Well, you know exactly what to expect here with Jumble Strikers. This is actually a spin off or sequel to another game and it plays very similarly. You need to go to the various areas, take on quests and engage in turn-based combat. The game has different difficulty options, but do not play this on anything other than normal. On normal difficulty, you get a good challenge that is not a breeze, but it is not frustrating or demanding a ton of grinding from you either.

Engaging In Bug Splattering Combat

I do want to take a moment to talk about the combat in Jumble Strikers. I liked it. It has a very old school kind of feel to it and you will have to fight off these nasty looking bugs. I will say that they could have done with a bit more enemy variety. It is like each area that you go to has its own style of enemies and that is all you are going to fight. There is a bit more variety with some of the enemies, but you will see the same enemies over and over again. I enjoyed how you had to think about what you were doing in the combat sections as it made me feel very smart when I would destroy an enemy.

Good, But Gross!

The whole style of Jumble Strikers is something that for me is a bit of a mixed bag. I like the top down, retro style that we get for the gameplay here. The combat in the game is done with these very nice portraits that are drawn and colored very well and have an anime look to them. Now, this is a lewd game so we have to talk about the XXX content, this tends to happen mid battle and it is usually one of the hot chicks getting screwed by some gross bug. That could not do anything less for me in a million years, it is such a turn off. The content with the girls without the bugs is great, I just wish that there was more of it.

Pros:

• I liked the cast of female characters in your party
• The combat system in the game is challenging, but very fair
• If you love monsters banging hot chicks, you will like this
• This is an RPG that you can beat in just a few sittings

Cons:

• The whole bugs having sex thing is a major turn off for me
• The hard difficulty makes this a real slog and not fun to play through, stay away from it!
