Sex with Ogre

Sex with Ogre might be the easiest lewd game that I have ever had to talk about. Let me start by informing you right now that this is a very, very short game. You can get to the end of this game in like ten minutes and that is not an exaggeration. Now, to be fair, it costs like a couple of bucks and if you are into the whole fantasy thing of girls getting banged by big ugly monsters then I do feel like you are going to be getting your couple of bucks worth out of this game.

Alice In The Forest

The crazy thing about Sex with Ogre is that I do actually think that the developer has something with the story. The main character is a brave and cool young woman called Alice who has found herself in this strange fantasy land. She is lost in the woods and trying to make her way to somewhere safe when she comes across this big ugly ogre. While he may be big and ugly is walking around with his giant penis and balls swinging in the wind so that does pique her interest a bit.

Accidentally In Love

Come on, I could not talk about Sex with Ogre without having at least one Shrek reference, could I? The story that is running through this game is rather strange as the ogre takes an instant liking to Alice and pretty much wants to bang her in every way you could imagine. The story sees them making their way through the woods together as they become closer and closer. As I said, I think that the story has potential here, but it never really gets going and as it is so linear, you never get fully invested as it never feels like it kicks into high gear.

Straight To The Point

Sex with Ogre is a lewd visual novel, but not one where you get to make choices that matter. This is a kinetic visual novel, you pretty much just kick back and experience the story that the developer wrote. Hey, I am sometimes okay with this as a good story is a good story and if it is compelling enough, I do not need to feel like I am contributing to it at all. However, in this case, it makes the game rather bland and I just see no way that someone would want to play through it again, even if it does only take around ten minutes to get to the end.

Mixing It Up

One thing you have to admit is that Alice is very easy on the eyes. I would say that the best thing about Sex with Ogre is the character of Alice. Not just because she is super hot, but I did kind of dig the whole vibe she had to. The ogre is what he is, he looks just like you would expect an ogre to. If you get a kick out of chicks getting banged by monsters, you will love the art in this game. It is very well done, but there are many times when the image and the story do not match up. It is like the wrong image was used for the text that is on the screen.

Pros:

• Alice is very easy on the eyes
• I actually liked Alice as a character too
• I think they had something with this XXX Shrek and Fiona story they were going for
• It does not take up much of your time

Cons:

• There is no actual gameplay here as it is pretty much a kinetic visual novel
• Some of the images do not match what the text is describing
