I was turned onto Somewhere I Belong by a good friend whose judgment on lewd games I take pretty highly and he was once again right on the money with this one. The crazy thing is that this is just the first release and if anything, what we have here is more like a demo or some kind of beta build of the game to prove to people that what they want to do can work. I was very entertained by this and while there is not a lot to experience just yet, this is one of my most hyped XXX games of 2023 so far.

Living In A Zombie World

Now, I know when I tell you that the backdrop for Somewhere I Belong is a zombie apocalypse you may think that this is a bit tired and we have seen it all before. However, I think that this game is taking a slightly different approach to it. Yes, society has crumbled, but the safe zone we are in still has some of the modern conveniences that we take for granted now like cell phones for example.

Ruler Of The Undead World

Ok, so we have talked about the setting of Somewhere I Belong, now let's get into the real meat and potatoes of the story. We play as a guy that has just been transferred to the safe zone and we have decided that we are going to become the ultimate mercenary and cave out the best life for us possible. I think that the game is going to give us a lot of choice of how we play this guy. There is not much in the way of branching paths at the moment, but I thought the guy ended up being way more likable than I thought he would.

Going Through It All

As I said in the intro, Somewhere I Belong is a game that is in a very early stage of development. That means that there is pretty much zero gameplay here as of me writing this. However, I can see where this is going. You can clearly tell that the developer has plans for branching story paths as there is a harem thing going on where you can romance several characters. Also, it looks like there could be some kind of sandbox style gameplay with exploration, combat, and possible stats to work on too. Of course, all of this is still to come so at the moment we do have a very basic gameplay experience.

Can’t Wait To See It All!

Even in this early stage of development, Somewhere I Belong is an incredible looking game. I am very impressed with the character renders here, I love the rapper looking chick and the girl with all the tattoos who you have a really cool sex scene with! The game has animated sex scenes already and they are smooth and look great. I truly could not be any more impressed with how this game looks. They just need to add more content and keep it in the same style as they already have.

As Somewhere I Belong is so early in development, I am not going to give it a score just yet. However, I am not exaggerating when I say that for me, this has all the makings of a 9/10, maybe even a 10/10 lewd game, that is how impressed I am with what I have seen so far. If you are as impressed with the game as I am, I recommend you throw the developer a few bucks as this may lead to it getting developed a bit quicker and I am sure we would all love that!

Pros:

I love this zombie apocalypse setting
The game has a very interesting story already
The MC could end up being a really strong and cool protagonist
The lewd content in the game is incredible and this is just the first release!

Cons:

As of writing, there is no actual gameplay, it is a very passive experience
As the game is so early in development, I have a feeling we may be waiting a while for this to be completed
