Sylphine

I have been excited for a while to spend some real time with Sylphine and I had the house to myself over the weekend so it was the perfect time… I realized how that sounded and by house to myself, I meant so that I could play the game in peace and quiet, not for the reasons your perverted mind is thinking! Anyway, this is a pretty popular lewd sandbox game and it is one of the few games like this to get an official release on steam. After spending quite a bit of time with it I think I am finally ready to put my thoughts down on paper.

Go, Go Power Rangers!

I will admit that the story Sylphine is trying to tell is trying just a tad too hard. I say that because I think there is a pretty awesome story at play here, our MC lost his mother and is living with this other woman and a handful of chicks, each with their own personality. They find themselves in the strange land of Sylphine as they try to figure out what is going on. I get major Power Rangers vibes from the tone here, not because they are turning into superheroes or anything like that, but more the way each character has their own color and distinct personality. I think that the story here is the kind of thing you will either get a kick out of or think is cringy as hell.

Now This Is A Lewd Game!

A huge part of the appeal of Sylphine is the incredible presentation. The character renders in this game are stacked, beautiful and they all have their own thing going on. There is a decent number of characters too so the variety in this game is great and certainly gives you a lot of reason to come back and play it again. As well as having great looking still renders. The animation in this game is very well done and it features pretty much every kind of sex position that you could want!

Pointing You In The Right Direction

When I heard that Sylphine was a “free roam” style of game as the developer likes to put it I was a bit worried. Many lewd games that go for the sandbox style tend to be what I like to call a “where the hell am I supposed to go?” kind of game. That is not the case here, you legit can go anywhere you want, but each girl clearly has what you are supposed to do next as well as what her schedule is. It is very hard to get lost in this game and if an objective is not there and you think one should be, you just play another one and it seems to eventually pop up. This is a shining example of how you do a sandbox lewd game. You really are free to do what you want. You can go for each objective or just take your time, have fun and relax.

Pros:

• While cheesy in many places, I found the story to be fun
• This is one of the best lewd open world/free roam/sandbox style games I have ever played
• Each of the main characters truly feels like a unique individual
• The renders are great and so are the animations

Cons:

• I have heard more than a few people say that they do not like the story
• The game can be so laid back it can be very easy to ignore the main story
