Taboo Stories

Wow, look I know that this is called Taboo Stories, but I was not actually prepared for what this game was offering. This is a lewd visual novel game and as the name suggests it is dealing with taboo subjects and if you enjoy or even want to play the game to start with all comes down to your personal taste on the subject matter of the stories.

The Taboo Anthology Collection

One thing that I do have to give Taboo Stories credit for is the way that it is not just a single story for a player to get through. This is more like an anthology story and each one deals with its own taboo subject. If you are into this kind of thing in your visual novel games then more power to you and you will probably get a kick out of this.

These are smaller stories that are quite short to get through so that is something I did like. The subject matter of the stories here is stuff like furries, bestiality, and incest. The bestiality one in particular really took me out of it as it is an actual dog that the chick is banging!

The CG in the game is actually pretty damn good. So good that in the incest one I was pretty bummed out as the idea of a girl getting it on with a dog does nothing for me at all, but the girl is actually pretty hot. Taboo Stories is a very good-looking game and if these fetishes do anything for you then you will be very happy with the visuals.

One thing I will give the game credit for is the furry aspect. This is a fetish I am not normally interested in, but it is done very well here and the purple furry character (I think she is some kind of fox or cat) is pretty hot and very well made.

Playing The Story

Each of the stories on offer in Taboo Stories is pretty short so it will not take you long to get through at all. If you have played a visual novel game before, you will know exactly what to expect from the gameplay. You read the story, make a few decisions here and there, and then watch the rest.

The writing is not bad, but if you get any enjoyment out of it, I do feel it all depends on your personal taste for the fetishes available.

Pros

• The way the game is split into smaller stories is good
• I liked the visuals for some of the girls
• The furry storyline was one that I did enjoy
• It is quick to get through
• The game has a decent level of polish to it all

• The bestiality thing was too much for me
• It all boils down to how much you like the “taboos” the game is offering
