Kingsguard

Kingsguard is a very interesting lewd visual novel to talk about. Let me start by saying that I thought this game was absolutely fantastic. It is a gay furry themed lewd story that is set in a fantasy world and that is something that really does appeal to me. However, on the flip side of that, I can also see why the very specific niche that this game is catering to may not be something that is hot for everyone. I would advise looking at a couple of the screenshots and if that art clicks with you, give it a try.

Fleeing The Home, He Once Knew

If you enjoy fantasy style stories such as Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings, Kingsguard is something I am sure that you will enjoy. The setting of the game is a huge continent that is called Torvair. This place is split into three nations and in the city of Havena, a young Prince who has lived a very sheltered life learns of a plot on his life! This means that he must flee and with the aid of his Kingsguard, he makes a run for it.

Seeing The Adventure Through

The story of Kingsguard is rather slow paced, but seeing this sheltered young prince have to go from a life of comfort in a castle to being on the run and having to fight and do whatever he can to survive was something that I thought was really cool. He meets many interesting characters along the way and while the story as I said does have a slow pace, I feel this is only for the opening chapter or two. Once the story gets going, it never lets up and I found it to be very addictive and kept wanting to play on even though it was like 2 in the morning the first time I played this, as I was so invested in the story.

Putting You In The Story

While on the surface Kingsguard may seem like every other lewd visual novel that you have played in terms of the gameplay. I have to say that the way the story is presented is pretty awesome. It is told from the first-person and this makes it feel like we are in this story which makes the various choices you make feel so much more important. In many ways, it reminded me of those choose your own adventure books I loved as a kid, well apart from all the sex and lewd stuff of course. If that first-person narrative clicks with you, trust me when I tell you that this game will become very addictive for you!

Buff Dudes Being Bros!

The art style of Kingsguard is fantastic! I love the creature designs here with Ramos the big buff rhino dude being my favorite. Now, while I love this fantasy furry type gay world that has been created here, I do understand that this is very much an acquired taste kind of thing and that for some the whole furry thing is not their cup of tea. Hey, I get that and nothing I say will convince you otherwise. However, if this is a genre that you do enjoy, I am 100 percent certain that you will love the art style and the cool and hunky character designs that are here.
