SimRail 2021 is a brand new railway simulation game packed with all sorts of excellent features. From driving the trains yourself to controlling railway traffic remotely from a signal box, you get to take on all sorts of roles and duties in this game and it really gives you a sense of the real-life responsibilities of various railway workers. Without further ado, let me jump straight into talking a little bit more about some specific features.

Excellent graphics and attention to detail

SimRail 2021 utilizes a modern game engine to provide you with fantastic visuals to make your gaming experience as authentic as possible. Not only are the graphics ten out of ten, but the environments also feel real with how trees and other objects react to weather conditions. You'll even see lots of people wandering about train station platforms similar to what you see in real life. All of these things combined make for a simulation game that is as close to the real thing as possible and it’s excellent to see everything come together so nicely.

Traveling down real train routes

SimRail 2021 takes you on a journey across hundreds of kilometres of railway tracks, all of which are part of real routes present in the world. You get the chance to explore a range of different environments, so you'll never get bored, and there's even a feature that lets you go back in time and see what it was like to drive a steam train in the 1980s. It's awesome seeing the range of content there is available in this game.

True to real life in many other ways

Not only are the graphics great and the routes real in this game, but there are also a few other features to help make the game feel authentic. Firstly, you've got hyper-realistic physics for all of the different trains, so you can expect them to behave and react as they would in real life based on the nature of their technology i.e. steam, diesel, or electric. The tech and controls you’ll come across in the different trains will be authentic to the vehicle models, too!

Also, in real life no one would be expected to manage railways all by themselves, so you can enjoy a co-op mode in SimRail 2021 that lets you play with other players and coordinate train traffic together. Pretty cool, right?

Pros:

• There's a multiplayer mode that lets you cooperate with other players to control railway traffic together

Cons:

• It would be cool to see a few more different trains in the game
• How the people move in the game can seem a bit robotic and unrealistic at times
