The Swordbearer

When I saw the title, The Swordbearer, and the title image, I was sure that this was going to be a super serious and stern fantasy type lewd visual novel. That though was not the case at all as this is a comedic kind of story and it was something that made me laugh and even cringe, but in a good way in places. You know, the more I think about it, the more I feel like this is one of the better fantasy lewd visual novels I have played lately as I had a smile on my face the whole time, I was playing it.

The Knights Guild

One of the things that The Swordbearer does very well is have a very serious premise that is complimented by the witty and silly writing of the story. We play as a guy that along with his buddy is heading to the city to join the adventurer’s guild known as The Knights Guild. The twist here is that we have a very special sword that was handed down to us by our mother that will shape our adventure going forward.

Really…. Really!

The whole story of The Swordbearer is just so well done. We have a kind of serious overall plot, but the character reactions and banter are hilarious in places. They do take a serious approach when needed, but for the most part, it is all played for laughs here and I think it is a great example of how to make your lewd visual novel be funny, charming, and also have an actual plot that you want to get to the end of. Of course, while trying to be a knight is their goal, getting laid a bunch is also on the agenda!

Sound As A Pound!

That was a little bit of British slang for you to try and class this place up a tad! Anyway, The Swordbearer is pretty much your very typical lewd visual novel when it comes to what you are getting up to as you play the game. The game moves at a very quick pace, taking you from one usually odd and humorous scene to the next. You get to make various choices, but as much as I enjoyed my time with the game, I am not sure how much difference my choices are actually making to the story as it moves forward. However, as I was having such a great time, it never bothered me.

That Is Some Bounce

Ever since I played Dead or Alive 2 on the Dreamcast, bouncy boob physics has fascinated me! The Swordbearer has some of the best boob physics I have had the pleasure to “ogle” in any video game. This is an amazing looking game with some of the sexiest babes I have seen in a lewd visual novel. The characters have incredible bodies, but it is the way things jiggle when in motion that really impressed me. The sex scenes are just fantastic and a whole lot of fun thanks to that bounce!

Pros:

• This game looks amazing
• You cannot take your eyes off the screen when the jiggling starts!
• The story manages to be legit funny
• I liked how fast paced the game was

Cons:

• A bit of voice acting, especially if the actors were hamming it up would be great
• The sex scenes are so great (and there is plenty of them) I wish that there were more!
