The Whore of Babylon

The Whore of Babylon is a lewd text based RPG style game that has a religious kind of story that is just so unusual that it captured my attention right from the start. While I understand that these text based games are something of an acquired taste. I do feel that this is one of the better and more unique games of this genre I have played in a very long time. I ended up playing through one of the paths and as soon as I have the time, I plan on playing through the other one too!

The Nun!

No this is not a lewd parody of the Blumhouse series, although that would be awesome and someone needs to get to work on that. The Whore of Babylon is a game where we play the role of a young nun who is trying her best to fight her sexual urges. I was very surprised and impressed at how “religious” this game was, the plot in many ways did feel like something you would see in a good vs evil kind of movie, all be it with a ton more sex and XXX content of course!

The Righteous Or Sinful Path Of A Nun!

As you would expect from a text based XXX adventure game like The Whore of Babylon, the game has more than one story path for you to experience. I went for the route where I tried to make her be more pure which was quite challenging and I think made for a very interesting story. However, you can also go the other route where you pretty much let her give in to her sexual desires and corruption and literally say what the hell! It is a fun concept and as I said in the introduction, I do plan on playing the other story path at some point.

With Friends Like These

I have played many lewd text adventure games where the games visuals are done with real porn images. What makes The Whore of Babylon interesting is that the main character is actually a friend of the developer which I think is great. Having a cute actress be the nun helps you feel more connected to her. While that is awesome, there are still plenty of porn images and gifs that are implemented in the game. The most shocking thing for me was the use of religious imagery, some of it rather brutal and hard to look at, to be honest with you! I do not mean that as a negative as it works very well with the story that they are telling in this game.

A Little Grind Never Hurt No One!

When it comes to the gameplay of The Whore of Babylon, it is pretty simple. If you are someone that enjoys text based games that have stats and some RPG like elements and grinding, you will like this. On the flip side of that, if text based lewd games do not usually do it for you, nothing here is going to change that for you. I have read that some people have said the game is grindy. While there is a little bit of grinding in the game, it never feels obnoxious or like it is getting in the way of the story.

Pros:

• The main character is hot
• I thought the religious story here was fascinating
• The gameplay is not very grindy so the game moves at a quick pace
• There are two very different story paths to enjoy

Cons:

• The art they have is great, but there could be more of it
• Text based lewd games are certainly an acquired taste
