Sweet Devil Hunter

Sweet Devil Hunter is certainly one of the more ambitious lewd games that I have played in quite some time. This is a 3rd person action game and you do not see too many lewd games taking on this genre. The game from what I can tell has been abandoned which is a real shame as I think that there was a lot of promise here. If you like 3rd person action games and good-looking ladies then I do still recommend you try out this game, just make sure you are playing the last version that was updated.

Monsters Are Everywhere

I have to be honest and say that Sweet Devil Hunter does not have the strongest story. The basics of what are going on here (as far as I can tell) are that monsters are taking over the land and only this sexy and badass chick can put a beating on them and save the day. Little bits of story and more scenes were added while the developer was working on the game, but it never really went anywhere.

Devil Does Care

I think the most obvious comparison when it comes to the gameplay of Sweet Devil Hunter has to be the Devil May Cry series. You hack, slash, dodge, roll, and so on as you attack all these gruesome looking creatures. When the gameplay is working it feels great. It is fluid, you feel like you are a true warrior and it is fun. The problem is that the game is very buggy, I had many graphical glitches happen, enemies not taking any damage and I even saw footage of some people being teleported around the game! When it is working and flowing it does feel great though.

The Thong War Song

I remember there was this game for the Xbox 360 called X Blades and the gimmick was the character you played as was pretty scantily clad and you could see her thong. Well, Sweet Devil Hunter is the next level of that as this warrior chick is running around in a bra and thong! You can even get her fully naked if you like. To be fair, I think the visuals here are a huge part of the appeal of the game. The monster designs in particular look great and are very well done. Plus, there is a nice variety to them. There are plenty of lewd scenes too, but as someone who is not into the whole monsters banging chick’s thing, it is not really for me.

It is a real shame that Sweet Devil Hunter never got worked on more as I think that this is a game that showed a great deal of promise. I liked the idea of what the game was trying to do and when it was working well, the hack and slash style combat was something that I really enjoyed.

Pros:

• The main character looks great as she runs around
• The combat when it is working right is fun and feels great
• I liked the idea of the game
• They were going to add some kind of VR mode to it which sounded interesting

Cons:

• The game is way too buggy
• They never fully finished the game which is a real shame
