Zetria is a lewd action platform shooter that completely blew me away. I saw the trailer and rather than downloading the demo, I decided to take the plunge and actually purchase the game as I was sure it looked like it was perfect for me. I am glad I did! While I will be honest and say that the game is perhaps a tad on the short side, I enjoyed my experience with this so much that I have played through it twice!

Doing The Right Thing In Space

I have to say that there are many parallels with the Metroid series when it comes to Zetria and the most notable one is the main character, Solana who has some major Samus vibes going on. Solana is a really cool and badass chick and she works her way through the galaxy picking up salvage from destroyed ships or whatever she comes across and she also saves people that are in need of help too, she is a true hero!

Offering A Helping Hand

While the story that Zetria is telling is not the deepest or most fleshed out, I still thought that this was a neat sci-fi action story that had a fair bit of mystery about it which I got a kick out of. You see while she is on her way to collect some salvage, Solana picks up this strange SOS signal and her being the hero she is decides to check it out. This leads her to a weird alien planet where she needs to try and find out what the source of this SOS signal is. I think that the game has some good world building here and if the developer decides to make a sequel, they have a lot to work with here.

Keeping Her On The Straight And Narrow

When I saw that first trailer, I thought for sure that Zetria would be a Metroidvania style of game as the developer is clearly inspired by that series. However, we actually have something that is more of a straightforward action game where things are broken down into levels with each one having a clear goal. The controls feel great and controlling Solana is a lot of fun as she is nimble and she has a decent array of firepower at her disposal. The game is rather short, but it leaves you wanting more and I jumped straight back in for a second round as I was having so much fun.

I Respect The Art!

I have to give a ton of credit to the artist of Zetria as this is some awesome pixel art! Solana looks amazing, she is cute, badass, and has a real sassy and sexy side to her as well. The monster and alien designs are also really cool and the game has a dark and sci-fi vibe about it all. The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the lewd content. This is a game where we see the monsters and aliens bang the hot chick and that is not something I am really into. Hey, I can appreciate the fantastic work that is done here, but the whole tentacles sliming inside a woman thing is not my cup of tea, but I can still say that it is very well done.

Zetria is a fantastic action game and one that could not be any easier for me to recommend to you guys. I loved the main character and thought that the game was an exciting and thrilling sci-fi game that had me wanting to just keep on playing. While the game does not long as last as I would like. It is just so much fun to play, I would wager most people who beat it will want to play it again right away.

They have a fantastic and cool character with Solana here
I was very impressed with the high quality pixel art in this game
The gameplay is tight and it is a fun sci-fi action game
While the lewd content is not for me, I can still say it is very well done

Cons:

I wish that there were a few more levels
So far I have not heard anything about extra levels or a sequel

I had a ton of fun with Zetria! This is a lewd action platformer and I feel like I have played a ton of these recently. I have to say that this is one of the better examples of this style of game. It manages to have tight, fun, and exciting gameplay. A decent sci-fi story and some very naughty XXX artwork that is sure to get the motors of you hentai lovers running big time. I was so into this game, I wanted to share my thoughts on it while I was still pretty high on it.

A Badass Chick Forging Her Way In The Galaxy!

The main character that we play as in Zetria is called, Solana. She is trying to find her way in the galaxy and thanks to her trusty, NX-37 Combat harness. She decides that the best and most profitable and most heroic thing for her to do is to become a salvage and rescuer. She will explore space, looking for destroyed and abandoned ships to seek her fortune and save others!

Answering The Wrong SOS!

While on a mission, Solana hears a feint SOS distress call while she is on a regular mission to try and find some salvage. This is where the story of Zetria really picks up! This distress call leads her to a dangerous alien planet that she starts to explore in order to find the source of this distress call. I think we have a fun sci-fi style story here and it is not super in depth, but to be fair, I never expected it to. In many ways, it feels like a lewd Metroid style story and that is something I think is pretty damn cool.

Pixel Tentacles!

I am a huge fan of the lewd art style that Zetria has going on. The main character, Solana is very well detailed and I love how she is a thicker more defined kind of sprite and she bounces and jiggles like you would expect. The whole game has this lewd, darker Metroid vibe going on and that is pretty damn sweet. Now the lewd content is a mixed bag. While I love Solana, this is a game where we see a hot chick gets banged by monsters, aliens, and tentacle style beasts. Hey, if you are into that, you will get a real kick out of this, but while I can appreciate the talent to bring this to life, it just never does anything for me.

A Blend So Good, Starbucks Could Sell It!

While I like the whole pixel art style and Metroid style vibe that Zetria has going on with the story. It is the gameplay that won me over here. I know that you may be expecting me to describe this as a Metroidvania style of game, but that is not actually the case. You see, this is much more of a straightforward action platformer. Solana controls great, the way she runs and jumps feels awesome, and like you are always in control. The action is fun too, blasting away at aliens and the puzzle solving is a challenge, but never to the point of frustration.

I was so impressed with Zetria that I hope the developer adds more content to it or considers making a full sequel at some point. The game is just a true joy to play and even if you took out the lewd content, I would still have had a very fun time with this. Speaking of the lewd content, while it is not the kind of thing that I find “hot”. For you hardcore hentai fans, I am 100 percent sure that you will love what they have done here. You can even download a demo of this to try before you fully jump in!
