Bitter Exclusion

At first glance, I will admit I just passed off Bitter Exclusion as yet another eroge that is set in a high-school. Do not get me wrong that is kind of what this is, however, the story that this tells is very interesting and I am sure it is one that many people can relate to, well apart from the high-school sex parties. Or, if these did happen at my school, I was sure as hell not involved. Enough of that, let's get back on track and see why this is such an interesting tale.

He, He, He

The whole premise of Bitter Exclusion is exclusion, bullying, and jealousy. Three themes that are not nice, yet somehow it makes for a very compelling story that the game tells. The main character is called Shouhei who is a bit of a loner apart from his good friend, Genta. People are not very nice to Shouhei, as a matter of fact, they seem to despise the poor SOB.

When he goes home, the rest of the class have these wild sex parties and talk about him behind his back. Eventually, even his so-called best friend turns on him and gets in on it. The story is very interesting and it did not go the way that I thought it would. I thought for sure it was going to turn into some kind of revenge story where Shouhei was sick of the way he was treated, but that never turned out to be the case.

Getting Laid At School

Just one look at the screenshots of Bitter Exclusion and you can tell right away that this is a tremendous looking game. Each character has their own look, which thanks to the excellent writing really does shine through and makes you see them as a unique individual. There are only a few different backgrounds as most of the story takes place in the same few areas, but these are done well too.

The only thing wrong with the way that the game looks is that it is censored. The genitals have that weird blurring/mosaic thing going on that some lewd games do and I just do not get the point. If you are making a lewd game, you might as well go all in and show it all.

I Hear You

I was very impressed with the level of voice acting that the game offered. This and the sound in general really do help to make this story come to life.

I feel that the voice acting here could serve as a great example to other lewd game developers for how they should handle it in their games.

Pros:

• The story is very interesting
• As a whole, the game is very well made
• I liked the majority of the characters
• It has some excellent writing
• The sound in the game is just as good as the graphics

Cons:

• The nudity is censored
• Not much in the way of actual gameplay on offer here
