Enishia and the Binding Brand

I thought that I had a pretty good idea of what Enishia and the Binding Brand was all about, but this lewd RPG ended up being even better than I imagined it would be. I kind of rolled my eyes when a friend told me that this was about corrupting a nun, but he completely undersold this story! This is a fantastic fantasy world that tells a good story with a protagonist that you do actually care about. I could see myself playing through this a few times as I had so much fun with it and there are different endings!

For The Cloth

The character that we play as in Enishia and the Binding Brand is a nun called Enishia. She is the head nun at the church which also has an orphanage attached to it. The game takes place in a fantasy land and one day a guy comes knocking at the door and he has the deed to the land! Turns out that we need to pay this guy a crap ton of gold or he is going to close the church and as a result, the orphans will be kicked out onto the street! It is up to Enishia to make the money to ensure this does not happen.

Not Quite What You Were Expecting!

While there is certainly a lot of Enishia having to embrace her lewd side to make money in Enishia and the Binding Brand, there is far more going on than this. There are some very interesting characters in her life that we get to interact with. Plus, there is a mystery about how this guy got the deed to the land and why all this strange stuff is happening in the first place. The corruption side of the story is done very well too. Enishia is willing to go to extreme lengths to make the money the church needs, but at the same time, she may start to like exploring her XXX side! The story in this game truly did surprise me with how well told it was.

One Heck Of An Adventure

While you may not be super excited about Enishia and the Binding Brand when you hear that this is an RPG Maker RPG, let me tell you, this game does everything that it does incredibly well. The game has so many elements to it and they are all done very well. The combat is turn based, but it has a bit of a unique vibe about it that I really did enjoy. The exploration is exciting and the way the game deals with Enishia’s lust is pretty awesome. I know it may sound like a typical corruption game mechanic, but it works really well and makes you question how you want to make this money back. In all, this is a pretty feature packed lewd RPG and I had so much fun actually playing it.

Crazy, Sexy, Cool

Hey a TLC reference was not on the top of the list I expected to do this morning! While I really enjoyed the story and the gameplay of Enishia and the Binding Brand, it is tied together really well by the very stylish visuals. Granted, you do have your typical RPG Maker top down pixel art perspective. However, the story and characters are brought to life with these very nice and erotic drawings that give the game even more personality. I will say that the version I played did have some of that pixelation censorship that I am not a fan of, but I do hope there is some kind of patch to get rid of it, however, if there is, I have not come across it yet.

Pros:

• The story is very engaging
• I liked how there was a real mystery about things
• There are some very well written and interesting characters
• I really enjoyed the combat

Cons:

• I wish I could get rid of that pixel censorship
• At its core it is another RPG Maker game

Enishia and the Binding Brand is an erotic JRPG adventure of a young nun's efforts to reclaim the temple's right to sovereignty. Enishia is the abbess of a small rural temple and the structures under its charge. One day, however, everything changes when an unknown company declares the temple's lands as its own. The right of possession is lost somewhere and Enisha is charged with a huge debt, which can't be repaid at the right time. What about the orphans who rely on Enisha? What about all the parishioners? Help Enisha to earn money in every possible way.
