Female Agent

I have gone down a lewd text based game rabbit hole lately and Female Agent is the most recent one that I have played. One thing I will say about this game is that the official description of this game is rather misleading. It says that it is an RPG, but it is far more of a visual novel than an RPG. I am not putting the game down for that, I just wanted to warn you so that you would not be disappointed. Plus, if you know exactly what you are getting into before you start, you will probably have a much better time with the game!

Undercover While Under The Covers

I love espionage stuff like James Bond and that is kind of what we have here with Female Agent. Our main character is a USA agent and she is being sent deep undercover into the sex worker scene of Bangkok! The idea here is that she will use her sexy look and seductive female ways to try and get to the bottom of this international terrorist conspiracy that threatens the rest of the world. The story is a lot of fun and I think if you are into spies and stuff like that, you will enjoy the story being told here.

The Struggles Of Being Undercover

One of the things that the story of Female Agent does very well is showing the stress of being undercover. As she has to work as a sex worker, as you would expect she has to do a lot of things that she does not want to do. It may seem like her personality here is all over the place as she will bang one dude raw and not think anything about it, but then get all crazy over the thought of having to go down on someone. I do not see this as an inconsistency in the writing, but more of them showing how being undercover in a situation like this is getting to her. Granted, that could be just the way I have taken it, but I do think that was the intent here.

A Report On The Chiefs Desk By 5 PM!

I went into Female Agent expecting RPG type experience, but that is not really the case. I guess I could kind of see why some people may refer to it as a lewd RPG as it certainly does put you into the role of this hot female agent. However, for me, it felt more like I was taking part in a lewd visual novel and more of a kinetic one at that as the developer clearly knew where they wanted the story to go and that was the ride we were going to be going on no matter what. I still enjoyed it and found the whole thing very engaging, but I can see why it may have been a bit lacking for some people.

Your Own Special Agent

The presentation of the game is right around what you would expect or a lewd text based adventure game. The bits of art we see are done well and what I liked about Female Agent was how we get to customize her look at the start of the game. Not only can we make her how we like, but this also gives you a bit more connection to the story which was something that I liked. I made mine a sexy babe with long black hair and tattoos and seeing her on the side of the screen always brought a smile to my face.

Pros:

• I liked creating my own sexy agent
• The presentation got me into the story
• I was impressed with the writing
• The game is very easy to play through and asks for next to nothing from the player

Cons:

• It may not be an “RPG” like they say that it is
• Some of the dialogue can be a tad on the long winded side
