Lewd visual novel FreshWomen - Season 1 is one of those games that I know is not perfect, but I still had a fun time with it anyway. As I write this season 2 has just been released so at least you know going into this, you are not going to be left hanging! I love it when a lewd visual novel is not all serious and trying to be more than it is, that is exactly what we have here, a XXX visual novel that is just all about the player having fun.

The Toughest Freshman Year Ever!

I am always down for a good college based lewd story and college is the setting for FreshWomen - Season 1. We have just started at Minerva Bay College and it looks like a nice place and we could be happy here. However, there are a couple of things getting in the way of us living our best college life. First of all, our dad is missing and we are trying to investigate what happened and also, our memory is gone, well not all of it, but we are suffering from some memory loss.

College Love Life

One area that FreshWomen - Season 1 excels in is the nookie department! In this game, you have a nice number of love interests that you can try and hook up with as you progress through the game. Hey, finding out pop is important, but not as important as getting laid. You can bang different chicks and I think that as there are so many girls, it may give you the incentive to play through the game more than once.

College Hotties On The Quad!

I would have to put FreshWomen - Season 1 in my top five best looking lewd games based on college! This game is great in the looks department, it features a whole host of sexy looking ladies and all of the character renders in general have a high quality look about them. The XXX content here is awesome as it is animated, now, some people may complain that the animation loops are rather short, but I still think they looked very hot! Also, I have to give them credit for not being stingy with the lewd content as it is dished out at a very fair rate.

No Fumbling Around Here!

One thing that I see as a plus about FreshWomen - Season 1 that I could see some people seeing as a negative is the difficulty. This is one of the easiest lewd visual novels that I have ever played! The game does give you different choices to make as you progress through it. Yet, these are the most simple choices you will ever make, it is so incredibly easy to know what the right choice to make is that you would have to screw up on purpose to get it wrong!

I had a very good time with FreshWomen – Season 1. I liked the story and how it was not all uptight and taking itself too seriously, even the basic gameplay was good and it would make a second playthrough something that I would seriously consider, especially as I did not get to hook up with all the ladies in the game. I would class this as a more chilled out kind of lewd experience and I mean that in a very positive way. Hell, the amazing visuals alone are enough of a reason to play this.

I liked how simple it was to pick the right choice
The story is rather weird in places, but it kind of works
This was just a really fun lewd visual novel to play

There are these dream sequences that are so freaking weird!
It may be a bit on the simple side for some people

FreshWomen - Season 1 is the first part of an intended series of lewd visual novels. I played this from start to end in just two sittings and while it may not be the most in-depth visual novel I have ever played, I got a real kick out of this one and enjoyed my time with it. While it does not do anything to make it stand out from the crowd if I am being honest. As far as lewd visual novels go, this is a pretty damn good one and one that I find very easy to recommend to my fellow lewd visual novel enthusiasts.

The Tough Life Of A Freshman

FreshWomen - Season 1 has a pretty crazy story going on, but thankfully it is not taking itself too seriously and is having a lot of fun with it. We play as a dude who has just moved to a new college called, Minerva Bay College. However, our dad has gone missing and part of the reason we are here is to find out what happened. Things are made more complicated by the fact that some of our memory is missing! Yes, this is weird and has more than a few plot holes, yet as it was kind of funny I just went with it. The one thing that stands out are these super strange dream sequences that you have to see to believe.

Plenty Of Fish In The Sea

One thing that I have to give FreshWomen - Season 1 a lot of credit for is having plenty of love interest for you to get with. They say that there are around eight that you can get with and on my playthroughs, I ended up hooking up with four different women. The ladies in the game are very easy on the eyes and the chicks all look different enough that you want to try and see as many of them as you can. I feel that a lewd visual novel can live or die by its love interests and this one has enough to make most people happy.

No Need For Batman!

As there is a bit of a mystery thing going on with the plot of FreshWomen - Season 1 you may be thinking that the story is something you need to pay attention to and figure out what to do and say. While in theory that should be the case, this is actually one of the easiest lewd visual novels you will ever play. The game gives you a handful of choices to make, but the only way you could make the wrong choice is if you intentionally did so! Rather than looking at this as a negative, I found it to be a positive as sometimes lewd visual novels can be way too cryptic and hard to figure out, so much so that it can be off putting, but that is not the case here.

So Smooth And Shiny!

The main thing that people will want to stick with FreshWomen - Season 1 for is the incredible lewd content. This game has some of the best characters renders I have seen in quite some time. The ladies here are spectacular and I love the variety of them. The sex scenes here are awesome and the animation which is just a few loops goes a great way to make the sex scenes even more appealing. It is hard to explain, but the characters have this kind of shiny look about them like they are oiled or kind of sweaty which is something I found to be very hot.

Even though I managed to get through FreshWomen - Season 1 in just a couple of sittings, I still had a fun time with it. In writing this review, I actually want to go back to this game and try to see all of the sex scenes with the ladies that I missed out on during my initial playthrough. The game may be very easy to play through and the story makes very little sense, but those renders and sex scenes are really awesome and made me want to keep on playing.
