I had so much fun playing Horny Recruiter that it had me saying next applicant please over and over again as I wanted to see what other wacky stuff was going to go down. If you are looking for a more serious kind of experience, then I have to tell you that this is not the game for you. However, if you want something that is more weird and unusual, you are sure to get a massive kick out of this game and all the wacky and weird stuff that the characters say to each other.

So You Want A job?

The premise of Horny Recruiter, next applicant please is quite simple, we have been tasked by our boss to pick who gets a job. It is our responsibility to look at the criteria list of the job at hand and then decide if the applicant is a good fit. Of course, many of these characters are willing to do anything to get a job and we are not one to shy away from helping these people resort to any kind of means to ensure that they get the job! You basically are looking to get sex in exchange for helping people get a job.

Ok, So This Is Not What You Think

I get that what I wrote may make Horny Recruiter sound like a game that is about abuse and I guess if you are saying next applicant, please with the intent of getting laid in order to help someone get a job that does sound like an abuse of power. However, the tone and the writing of this game are not meant to be taken seriously. The stuff said here is so over the top and much of it makes no sense, but not in a bad way, it adds to the charm of the game. There was one scene where I was having what I thought was a normal conversation, only for me to ask them if they were on drugs due to the answer that they gave me.

Judging A Book By Its Cover

I would say that lewd visual novel is what category Horny Recruiter fits in the best. The whole premise of this game is based around the next applicant please kind of thinking where you are running a conveyor belt of job applicants. We interview them, ask them questions, and try to judge their character based on their responses. It is quite simple, to be honest with you and there is an extra aspect to the gameplay based on affection points where if we get the right things here we can in fact get a lewd scene with the characters. I would say that the challenge comes from not knowing exactly how to respond to a client, it can be quite obtuse, but rather than being frustrating, I found that to be part of the fun as the dialogue exchanges made me laugh with how weird they were.

A Rather Unique Look Don’t You Think!

The presentation of Horny Recruiter is fantastic! You basically scroll through a list and say “next applicant please” and you select the one you want to interview and then go at it. There are many different characters here and they all have their own unique design to them. My favorite was the tattooed chick, you can just tell that she would be up for some freaky stuff. There are plenty of characters here and while there are not a whole host of lewd scenes with each of the characters, they are animated and they look great. I liked the cartoon vibe that the characters had and think that the developer did a fantastic job making sure each one had a ton of personality.

Pros:

• I really enjoyed the premise of the game
• The story is told in a tongue and cheek kind of way
• The art in the game is great
• There are plenty of characters that you get to interview

Cons:

• Some may not like the abuse of power that the story is themed around
• The story may be a tad on the weird side for some people
