Magic Shop 3D

Magic Shop 3D is a fun lewd game that at its heart is probably best described as a puzzle game, but it has a ton of retro style mini-games that make it quite unique. With a fun fantasy setting and some fantastic 3D character models featuring all kinds of crazy looking babes, it is easy to see why those who like this game do not just like it, they love it. The game is not perfect and from what I understand it is actually a re-release or a somewhat remake of a flash game that was popular many years ago. Still, I had some fun with the game over the last weekend so I thought I would share my thoughts of it.

A Princess Walks Into A Magic Shop

I know that the whole “princess walks into a magic shop” sounds like the opening of a joke, but that is really what the story of Magic Shop 3D is about. A princess comes to your magic shop looking for help and in order to help her with her “problem”, you need to play around with your potions and find the right combination for what she needs. I think the premise is fun, but the protagonist is a major uggo! I wish that we could play as someone else as I really hate this dude!

The Magic Of 3D

There are so many amazing character models in Magic Shop 3D that you can play for an hour straight and not even come close to seeing them all. I think that they claim there are 80 of them and they are all created in glorious 3D. Pretty much every type of fantasy and monster style girl that you can think of is in this game. When you play for the first time, you never know what kind of girl you are going to get!

What Kind Of Magic Spell To Use?

A little Labyrinth reference there for you. The way the game works is that you have all these ingredients and you need to mix them to make a combination. It is this combination that is going to give you your new “creation” that you can play with. It is fun stuff and I had a ton of fun playing around here and seeing what would be created next.

Back In The Arcade

There is more to Magic Shop 3D than just mixing potions and items together. You also have to play these retro style mini-games which I found to be fun and also, they kept me on my toes too. You have a game that is like the classic Snake which we all spent way too many hours on with our Nokia phones back in the early 00s. We also have a shooter, a weird puzzle, a math quiz, and more. Some of these are better than others, but I found this to be a fun way to keep the game interesting. For a game that is “simple” it sure as hell demanded a lot from my PC which was strange.

Pros:

• The premise of the game is fun
• It is neat how the game does not take itself too seriously
• There are tons of different girls that you can create in this game
• I liked the mini-games as they added a lot of variety to the game

Cons:

• The game uses a ton of GPU power for some strange reason
• Some of the mini-games are better than others
