Naked Adventure

I must admit, I ended up having way more fun with Naked Adventure than I thought I would. This is a Japanese style lewd card game and while I will admit, I was unfamiliar with the card game this is based on. It was simple enough to figure out and I found the whole premise of the game just so much fun. Especially as the game kind of plays it all straight and takes itself quite seriously, but to be fair, I think that may be done on purpose. Either way, it adds to the charm and made this end up being a game that I really did enjoy.

Ruri Is In The Wrong Part Of Town

Our main female character in Naked Adventure is a young shy girl called Ruri. Ruri just wants to get home and for this day to be over, but she has found herself thrust into this kind of adventure scavenger hunt type thing and now she is being teased, helped, manipulated or however you want to look at it, by a young guy called, Sena. Look, the story here is freaking weird, but I mean that as a compliment. It makes very little sense, but that was part of the reason why I got such a kick out of this game.

Hmm, Not Sure If It Is On Purpose

I said that the game plays it all straight in the intro and I have to say that as I write this Naked Adventure review, I am still not 100 percent sure that it is intended to be this way. The stuff Ruri does and says is hilarious as it all sounds so serious and like she has no idea how she has somehow ended up in a situation where she is on a crossing on her hands and knees with her bare ass to the world! It is funny stuff and if you just go with the flow, you will have a lot of fun with it.

Throwing Cards Like You Are Gambit

The term that I have heard thrown around for the gameplay of Naked Adventure is “Japanese Suguoroku” and I will admit, I have no idea what the hell that is. However, I can give you my experience with the game and I am pleased to say that it is a very positive one! Ruri basically runs from left to right and she will land on different squares that will offer different things like a shop or an event. We play as the guy and we need to play a better card than the one she has to win and so that she can lose more clothing or even have sex with someone. It is the kind of thing that I find tricky to explain, but once you have played for about five minutes, you figure it all out and it is a lot of fun and I found the random nature of the cards added to the excitement.

The Text And The Art Are One!

One of the things that made Naked Adventure such a fun experience for me was the XXX content. The game does not have these fully animated sex scenes, but it still has a lot of great lewd content. You see, this has a very anime style to it and that is something I am a huge fan of. It does also help that Ruri is very cute and that she gets into all kinds of fun sexy situations with both men and women.

Now, a huge part of the fun here with the sex content is the descriptions that accompany them. These are hilarious and made the lewd content even more fun! I just love the way that she can say something innocent, slutty, and dumb all at the same time.

Pros:

• I found the two lead characters to be a lot of fun
• The story manages to be serious and hilarious at the same time
• It has this amazing anime style to the visuals
• The gameplay was not like any other lewd game I played before

Cons:

• I wish those great looking lewd scenes were animated
• It does feel like there is a bit of randomness to the card thing (unless I am just a moron)
