Toro 7

The best compliment that I can give Toro 7 is that if this were not a lewd game, I would still want to play it! That is because the story and the characters are so interesting. To be honest with you, as much as I love lewd content, I see it as more of a bonus here! Lewd stuff happens, but it is not what the game is all about. The developer had an idea for this interesting and engaging sci-fi story and they ran with it. Sure, boobs and butts are here, but they are not the focus of what this game is all about.

Telling A Tale One Chapter At A Time

I am loving what has been done with Toro 7, but I do want to talk about the one negative that I have with the game. This is being released episodically. Think of the way that the Tell Tale Games like The Walking Dead have been released or the first few Life is Strange games and you will know what I am talking about. In one way I like this, the developer works on a specific chapter, gets it out, and then gets to work on the next one, but I get so invested, that I want it all right now! Perhaps this is more of an issue with my lack of patience than the game itself now that I think about it!

The Europa Report

If you get that reference, you are awesome and we can be sci-fi buddies as that movie is awesome! With the story of Toro 7 being so great, I am not going to go into too many details about the plot. The world that the universe that the game takes place in is not the best. A big corporation rules pretty much everything and people are told what to do and what their job is. We are part of a crew on a very unusual station that is working on Europa. The story is very much a sci-fi tale, but it also has a bit of “detective story” about it as well as we are thrust into this conspiracy and try to find our way through it all. Yes, this is a lewd game, but first and foremost, it is a sci-fi story!

Playing The Game Your Way

One of the most interesting things about the story in Toro 7 is that we can decide what kind of character we want to play as. You can play the game as a straight man (this was how I played the game) you can also play as a woman, either a straight woman or a gay woman. While I am dedicated to my playthrough right now, I am into this so much, that I could easily see myself trying it out as the other two character styles to see what the differences are. The way character interaction happens in the game is great, people feel “real” and there is not some big desire to just bang anything that moves in the game.

Space Bush Is A Thing

The presentation of the game is great! Toro 7 has a classic sci-fi look and I love the way everything looks so metallic, industrial, and futuristic, kind of like the planet and space station from Aliens now that I think about it. The character designs are great, I was particularly pleased to see that this game did not just have all the women be fully shaven! It was a nice change of pace and it all looked fantastic. The lewd content I did see in the game was great and it never felt forced. In all, it is a very impressive looking game that is made even better thanks to the great story you are experiencing.

Pros:

• This is one of the best sci-fi lewd games I have played
• The story is so good, they could take out the XXX stuff and I would still love it
• You can make your MC one of three different styles
• It has a very high quality look to it

Cons:

• It would be great if they could get this thing voice acted
• I hate having to wait for the next episode!

Usually, when I come across an episodic game like Toro 7, I will wait until it is all done before I play it. However, I ended up not realizing that this was an episodic game and started playing it before it was complete! Well, the game is complete now and I wanted to share my thoughts on why I still feel that this is one of the best sci-fi lewd visual novel games I have ever played and even if it did not have hot characters getting it on, I still think that this would be a fantastic game and story. If you love sci-fi, I do not see there being any way that this does not completely suck you in.

Then What Happened?

The story of Toro 7 is something that I am not going to go into spoiler territory about, as it truly is the best thing about the game. Set in the future, a giant corporation pretty much has its hands on everything and owns everything, and we are on a space station that has an important job to do on Europa. It is a very oppressive kind of situation, but we end up pulled into this very strange mystery, and we soon realize that things and people are not what they seem on this ship. There are so many great twists and turns here that when I was playing this episodically, I was mad when a chapter would end as I needed to know what happened next! However, now that it is all complete, you truly do appreciate the way that this story flows; it is just great sci-fi storytelling.

This Is Your Sci-Fi Epic

While Toro 7 has a very structured story that makes a great deal of sense. One of the things that I thought was pretty awesome was how you could actually pick what kind of character you played as. You can play as a man, a woman, or a gay woman. In my first playthrough, I picked the man, but I am about ¼ of the way through a second playthrough, and this time, I am playing as the straight woman, but I can see myself doing the gay story as well. While much of the story is very similar, seeing things from a different character's point of view, as well as different stuff happening, is very well done. There are some random characters, but most of the important characters in the game are all very well written.

Let Me Think About That

While Toro 7 is a lewd visual novel, there are not a ton of choices that are thrown the way of the player. Now, to be fair, in this instance, I feel that this was 100000 percent the right decision for the developer to make. This is a very structured and well told story, and I think a bunch of random choices would have ruined that. Still, the game does throw some choices your way, and many of them feel like they are important. I got so invested here that I really did think about what I said and did during most of the interactive elements of the game. Just know that there are sometimes several, if not more, minutes in between choice making sections in the game.

I Didn’t Even Notice!

As a sci-fi nerd, the look of Toro 7 just clicked with me right away. The space station has a very real look to it, and I loved all the little details that each scene had to offer. The game also has some very nice character models, and I liked how there was a decent amount of variety to the character bodies so that they did not all just look the same. Now, the game is still images only, even the sex scenes, but I am willing to give the game a pass as the art is so well done and we also have some very graphic and well written descriptions that accompany the sex scenes which makes them even hotter.

Pros:

• If you love sci-fi, you will love the story that this game tells
• There are three different versions of the MC to play as
• I was very impressed with the sci-fi aesthetic that the game had
• This is one of the best lewd sci-fi games ever!

Cons:

• Fully animated sex scenes would have taken this to the next level
• You do have to be a fan of sci-fi to truly appreciate this

Become a crew member of an elite research space station and get to know other similarly fortunate people up close. Travel between the stars and satisfy your research interest with other explorers. Create a character and, depending on your gender, participate in a variety of scenes of station life.
