Vessel Tactics

Let me start by saying that Vessel Tactics is a game intended for those who are into the whole vore thing. I will be honest, vore is not something I actually find hot, but I have certainly had a lot of fun playing the vore games over the last few years. This one here is trying to mix tactics games with Gacha games and I think that the developer has some pretty neat ideas here. There are only a couple of battles and a kind of sandbox thing going on at the time I write this, but it is a good indication of what is to come if the developer sticks with this.

Talk About A Strange World

As Vessel Tactics is not yet completed, there is not a great deal going on with the story, but we do have a setup here. We play as a “commander” who ends up transported into a very strange fantasy world. The thing with this world is that it is a vore world where the beings that call this world home eat each other to grow stronger. Wait, it gets weirder, there are also these android beings called vessels and they save us and we are working with them to find out what the deal with this place it, oh, but the vessels also have vore stuff going on. The story is super weird, but I am interested to see what the developer adds here.

Taking Turns!

What drew me to Vessel Tactics was not the fact that it was a game about vore, but the fact that it said it was a mixture of turn based tactics and Gacha games, and that is something I think sounds very neat. The turn based tactics stuff here is super basic and you can tell they have other things planned, but at the moment you can just do a couple of things. What makes the game unique is that you get stronger by feeding the cannon fodder troops to your main ones to make them stronger, this is a rather unique way to do the whole vore thing. The Gacha mechanic is pretty fun and to be honest, I do not think this is something that needs a great deal of work. What is here works really well and I am interested to see how they expand upon it.

Seeing What They Are Doing

One thing that I will say is great about Vessel Tactics is that you can pretty much see all the girls the game has to offer right from the start. They have gone for a kind of anime vibe here and I have a sneaking suspicion that games such as Genshin Impact and maybe even the old school Final Fantasy Tactics were an inspiration for the visuals. There are a nice selection of ladies in the game and the portraits and various other pieces of art are very well done. However, I do feel that the battles could perhaps use a bit of sprucing up. They take place on a grid type screen as you would expect from a tactics game, but they are pretty barren with hardly any detail or stuff going on.

To Vore Or Not To Vore

So how bad is the vore stuff here? Well, the main selling point of the art in Vessel Tactics has to be the big bulging bellies that these hotties have when they have been consuming people. I get that this is not for everyone and it is pretty extreme stuff, with one chick laying on her huge bulging stomach as if it is some kind of big bean bag! While it may be a fetish that is for a very specific kind of crowd. At the end of the day, if you are someone who is into the whole vore thing, I am pretty sure that you will love what they have done here in that regard. However, for those that find vore a turn off, this is probably not going to come anywhere close to changing your mind.

• The belly bulging is pretty extreme which vore fans will love
• I liked the selection of ladies that the game offered
• They have something fun with the tactics and Gacha style gameplay

Cons:

• At the end of the day, you do have to like vore to get into this
• As of writing, there is very, very little content in the game
