Daily Life in Jeopardy

The first thing you should know about this game is that it isn't about any old TV show. Trust, me I fell for that. It does, however, contain a surprisingly gripping H storyline of forbidden love and some spicy scenes that should be more than serviceable for any fan of eroge titles.

Like so many other titles in the genre, Daily Life in Jeopardy puts you in the middle of a spicy story. This time, the MC is a guy who suddenly discovers he's held feelings for his childhood friend. It's a story as old as time. Unfortunately, unexpected circumstances stand between them and a happy life together. If you've played other hentai games, I'm pretty sure you know where this is going – and it's not looking good for our main character at all.

Confusion and Lies

Let's get this out of the way: Daily Life in Jeopardy looks rough. I wasn't expecting Princess Trainer's levels of attention to detail, but this one makes Summertime Saga look like it belongs in the Sistine Chapel. Character models are flat and lifeless, and faces look like those that come in "How To Draw Anime" books you find in bargain bins.

With that out of the way, we can start talking about the story, and that's where the game truly shines. Yes, this is an NTR game. That essentially means that your character never gets the girl. Some people like that, some people don't. Personally, I would prefer if the NTR route were optional, but in this game, you're forced down that path.

The amount of enjoyment you'll get out of this game relies entirely on how much NTR content you can stomach.

Choices and Text (Lots of Text)

As with any Japanese visual novel, get ready to read a lot in Daily Life in Jeopardy. If you're the type who gets anxious and wants to get straight into the action, this isn't the game for you. The game takes its time setting you up for heartbreak – I suppose that's something that NTR enjoyers prefer.

The rest of the game will have you walking around, RPG Maker style, talking with other characters to advance the plot. It's all pretty straightforward, but we know that you're here for the artwork. Unfortunately, as I mentioned before, the art leaves much to be desired in this game.

Even the most steamy sections look boring. It's incredible, really. How can someone make an intimate moment of passion between two lovers look as lifeless as it does here is something that has to be seen to be believed.

The Contents of its Character

Daily Life in Jeopardy is a hard game to stomach in some areas. However, if you can look past its many shortcomings, you'll find that the developer truly poured their heart and soul into this game – and it shows.

The story, while solely focused on NTR, features interesting characters that feel alive and multilayered. While the art looks bland, character interactions and dialogue make up for any shortcomings.
