DojoNTR

I had a blast playing DojoNTR. I tried to play this a while back, but it was only in Japanese and I got through as much as I could, before hitting a wall. Still, I did have some fun with the game and hoped that an English translation would be released. Well, I am happy to say that an English translation is here and I have played through the game and I had a fun time. This is the kind of game that some may find a bit grindy, but I think that charm it has more than makes up for that.

This Is My Dojo!

I would not say that the story being told in DojoNTR is going to win any awards or anything like that, but it did make me chuckle on more than one occasion. You see, we play as a guy who runs a judo dojo and we are going to make sure that our students know what they are doing. Oh, our students just so happen to be cute girls so we are of course going to be corrupting them and taking them down to the mat, the bed, and anywhere else we can have sex with them!

Played For Laughs

The translation of DojoNTR is not bad at all, but I think that where it is rough in places, it is done so on purpose. The reason I say that is that this game is supposed to be funny. You do not want to come into this expecting some kind of serious story. This is mostly all played for laughs and you are sure to get a chuckle out of it as you play. However, what this game does very well is that while it does make you smile and laugh, it also manages to be hot and sexy too! This is a balance that I have seen more than one lewd game struggle with in the past.

Hitting The Mat

I was very surprised at just how much variety there was to the gameplay of DojoNTR. This is a lewd adventure game, but there is so much going on. We have a series of mini games that are all themed around improving our stats and abilities. There is even a kind of card system at play here when it comes to the actual judo. We have different mini-games to build up our various stats and they are all kind of charming in their own way. Of course, you will be doing these over and over again to grind up money and stats, but I never found it obnoxious or it to ruin the game at all.

Cute And Fun

I am sure that it will be the cartoon visual style of DojoNTR that grabs most people’s attention. Even with the cartoon pixel art style, this game still manages to be quite sexy. It does play a lot of what it does for laughs, but the sex is the real deal. I like how we get little comic book style pop ups from time to time and the judo where the characters start to lose clothes is awesome stuff indeed.

It is a game that manages to be charming, funny, and sexy all at the same time! There are more detailed character portraits and stuff like that too which I thought was a nice touch and helped give the game an even more premium kind of vibe to it.

Pros:

• I found the whole judo coach thing to be amusing
• There is a lot of variety to the gameplay here
• I liked the way that the game progressed
• The art style is awesome, it is charming, but hot at the same time

Cons:

• It is wishful thinking, but if they could add English voice acting that would be great!
• While the grinding did not bother me at all, I know some people may find it a bit too much
