Fallen Bride Mege

I can see why some people love Fallen Bride Mege, but at the same time, I can see why some people are not all that into it. I would say that I probably fell somewhere in the middle. I thought the game had some good stuff going on, but there was also some stuff that made me lose interest towards the end. I will say that this is listed as an RPG, but I would say that it has more in common with an adventure game than an RPG.

My Lovely Wife

The premise of the story in Fallen Bride Mege is something that I do think has a lot of promise to it. We have this lovely couple, the protagonist, and his wife, Mege. They have been together since they were kids and on one hand, this is a lovely little love story about two people making it work… however, this is a lewd game that we are talking about her so you know that is not going to be the end of this story.

Working for THE MAN!

The husband is having some trouble at work and he is about to be fired! His boss, who kind of looks like a black Red Forman from That 70s Show has an idea. If he and others can bang Mege, her husband may be able to save his career. Yep, that is what Fallen Bride Mege is basically all about. I think the idea of the wife wanting to save her husband is good. However, there is also this story about how he can’t satisfy her sexually and he get gets off on seeing her getting railed by other dudes! I think this was a misstep as if you just had her wanting to do all she could to save him, it would have packed way more impact.

That 9 To 5 Grind!

The gameplay of Fallen Bride Mege is where it really did not win me over. I am not saying it sucks or anything like that, but the whole game has you doing the same thing repeatedly. You go to work to make money and you get to decide what kind of job you want to do. You can do a basic job and make a little money, and you can gamble on a harder job with more pay, but the risks are higher and there is a weird ass Pac-Man style game where you chase people around. You just do the same thing over and over again, in between the visual novel style stuff and it does start to get a bit old.

OH, Red!

As soon as I realized that the boss character reminded me of Red Forman, I had a hard time finding this huge donged dude banging Mege to be hot! Still, Fallen Bride Mege does have a lot of fun XXX content and I feel that it dishes it out at a fair rate. The character portraits are done well enough for the most part and the game has a top-down style like many lewd RPG and adventure games go for and it is done in that pixel retro kind of style and I am ok with it. I was surprised that the game did have some voice acting which was fun and pretty well-done.

Pros:

• I liked the character of Mege
• The idea of high school sweethearts was something I thought was interesting
• There is a lot of lewd content in the game
• Some may like the gameplay loop the game has

Cons:

• I did not like the whole NTR thing that was going on
• The gameplay loop for me became very repetitive
