Henteria Chronicles Chapter 3 The Peacekeepers

I have to say that so far Henteria Chronicles Chapter 3 The Peacekeepers is my favorite entry in this series! I was entertained from start to end here and while the new protagonist was one that I was not sure I would warm to, I got super invested in this story and ended up getting pretty hooked on this game. This like the two that came before it is a lewd RPG and it does follow a similar formula. Look, if you liked the first two chapters, you will like this, it is pretty much as simple as that.

Leto, But Not Jarred

This time around we no longer play as Noah like we did in the first game, Henteria Chronicles Chapter 3 The Peacekeepers has us playing as a young man called Leto. Leto and his family are heading out on the high seas to the small land that is called, Nos’Ra to start a new life as this is the land of opportunity. However, a tragedy happens and he ends up stranded all alone and must try and fit in with a new family and a bunch of new people.

The Ladies In His Life!

Leto has four main ladies that are in his life and I think that Henteria Chronicles Chapter 3 The Peacekeepers does a fantastic job when it comes to the character development, we have the friend turned lover, the mom, and so on and each path that the story takes is well written and engaging. While you have a good selection of main and side characters, there is also an over arcing story arc about a fog that is engulfing this city and causing trouble with the women, forcing Leto to face it head on!

Sticking With What Works

One of the things that I liked about the last chapter rings true for Henteria Chronicles Chapter 3 The Peacekeepers. This is a game that on the surface is a very basic lewd RPG. However, what I love about this is that it does what it does very well. You have your basic exploration, getting into scuffles, character development, new gear, abilities, and so on. I appreciate that it is not trying to be different for the sake of doing so, instead, it focuses on telling a good story and being fun to play. I love how it always keeps you on task and you always know exactly what it is you need to do or what your current objective is.

Going For That 32-Bit Look

Visually, I am really liking what they have done with Henteria Chronicles Chapter 3 The Peacekeepers. It uses the same kind of pixel art that the last chapter had and it gives the game a very charming look. I will say that the lack of any kind of CG or character portraits may be an issue for some as all of the game, even the XXX stuff is done with the pixel art so this is not the game to play if you are looking for something to get you off. I am also not a fan of the weird internal camera that pops up during the sex scenes. However, for the most part, this game has a very high end 32-bit pixel art look about it that I really do like.

Pros:

• Each of the main love interests is well developed and interesting
• The gameplay is easy to get into and fun
• I liked how the game always lets you know what to do
• The pixel art is very well done and charming

Cons:

• As much as I love the pixel art, a few CGs would have been nice
• That internal camera thing is a huge turn off for me
