Hypnosis Card 2

Hypnosis Card 2 is a fun lewd card battling game and deck building game. It is very much on the simple side of the genre and I was able to blast my way through this game without much difficulty. However, the visuals are fantastic and I think if you enjoy card games and deck building games, you will have a lot of fun with this. I would actually love to see the developer of this game take another crack at this as they have a very solid foundation to build upon where they could perhaps add some more interesting gameplay dynamics. Anyway, before we get to the potential sequel, keep on reading to see if this is a game for you.

That Spire Sure Does Need Slaying

One thing that you will read over and over again about Hypnosis Card 2 is that the game is pretty much Slay The Spire, but with boobs. Honestly, if you have played Slay the Spire, I would wager that within ten minutes you will get some real familiar vibes with this game. The thing is, me having already spent a lot of time with Slay the Spire, meant that I was able to blow through this game really quickly and find it super easy. I think those who have not played Slay the Spire may find it a little more challenging.

Now That Is A Trump Card!

There is not exactly much in the way of story here in Hypnosis Card 2, but if you are someone who has grown up playing collectible card games like Pokémon, Magic, or in my case, Yu-Gi-Oh! You will get a kick out of it. Basically, we are a card playing nerd, but on our 30th birthday, we get a magic card that lets us hypnotize women. We are going to use this card to battle these hot women and of course, end up having sex with them if we win. There are multiple girls and each one has her own personality, but there is no big overarching story that you are going to get hooked on here. Still, it is a fun fantasy to play through if you are someone who is into card games.

No Two Decks Are The Same

Hypnosis Card 2 is a game where everything is done randomly. This means that no two maps are the same, no two decks are the same and you get a different experience each time you play. You need to build a deck with the different cards and something that is neat here is that you get cards for different parts of the body. The girls will also attack you and what is cool about this is that this shows off those sexy character models. As far as deck building card games go, this is very simple. I found it so easy to build a super overpowered deck thanks to the stuff I had learned in Slay the Spire. However, those who come to this because they like the character models and are not experienced with card games I think will find the challenge here a lot more fun.

The Real Fab Five

No, I am not talking about The Spice Girls, Hypnosis Card 2 offers you five beautiful women to play against. There is a lot of variety to the designs here from a sexy cat girl, a smart chick, and a blonde bombshell. The character models in this game are fantastic and I loved the bits of animation you would get during the battles. Each character has a sex scene for you to unlock which is pretty much your goal. However, they also get up to some lewd goings on as you battle them. The whole game has a very polished look to it and I think that they did a great job with making sure each girl looks different. I will say that the way you have to mash a button during the sex scene is a bit annoying, but this could be just me.

Pros:

• The game looks great, especially the girls
• This is a fun and simple deck building card battling game
• I got a kick out of the story

Cons:

• It may be a tad too easy for seasoned trading card game enthusiasts
• The story is fun, but could have done with a bit more substance
