Lust Hunter

While much of what makes Lust Hunter a good game is behind a Patreon wall, I still think that this is an impressive game and a game that is well worth taking a closer look at. I have to be honest with you guys and say that as soon as I read “fill all the beings with lust and exercise witches” I knew that this was going to be a game that I had to spend some time with. I do actually think that it is well made and well worth throwing a few bucks the developer’s way if you like the free version as there is a lot more to the gameplay if you get the full (well full as of writing) version of the game.

Taking All The Lust For Themselves

I got a real kick out of the story that Lust Hunter was telling. As I said in the intro, the little bit of text that explained the game, that is pretty much what is going on in this fantasy world. The land was one full of lust and all the creatures were going around banging and having great sex. Then these witches came to the land and they took all of the lust for themselves. The story is about trying to bring lust back to the land… and maybe stopping some evil along the way too.

Impressive You Are

The good XXX content in Lust Hunter is hidden behind a Patreon paywall. I am not going to get mad about this as the developer has to make a living. The sex content that I have seen so far is very well done, with impressive renders and some rather unique looking fantasy creatures to boot! The game has a great look to it and even though it is not yet finished, I do think that overall, there is a very decent level of polish here.

Right Place, Right Time

As far as the core gameplay of Lust Hunter goes, I guess you could probably say it is a sandbox RPG with visual novel elements on top for good measure. You get to click a map and chose where you go. You also have to talk to characters and do things for them as well. The RPG elements come into play as you have a skill tree that you can put points into as you decide if you want to be more of a dominator or a subserve. You can also buy and equip new equipment that can give you various advantages too.

Playing Your Cards Right

Lust Hunter also has combat! It is turn based combat that is based around cards. You will get cards as you play the game and you need to play the right card to cause damage, do some kind of buff, and other stuff like that. It may be pretty basic in the current build, but I had a lot of fun with the combat and to be real with you, I hope that they do not make it too over complicated just for the sake of doing so.

Pros:

• I liked the fantasy setting of the game
• The story grabbed me way more than I thought it would
• I liked the turn-based card combat the game offered
• The RPG elements that the game has give it way more depth than you would think

Cons:

• So far, the game is not yet complete
• The free version does not really let you sample the good stuff the game has to offer
