I love a good lewd point and click adventure, and Mindweaver Chronicles pretty much delivers on every single level of what I want in a game like this!

Wrong Place, Wrong Time

The story got me invested pretty much right from the start. Our main character is a “normal” chick who finds herself living in a city that is overrun by crime. During a gang war, she finds herself in the wrong place and is wounded, and her friend is killed! This leads to her being taken in by a strange group, developing powers, and then setting out on a quest for revenge to take down this criminal organization. Honestly, what is here is fantastic, and I think that they could have gone even more in-depth, and it would have been even better!

Putting Your Thinking Cap On

When it comes to the gameplay of Mindweaver Chronicles, it is more like a 90s point-and-click adventure than a modern one. I say this as the game is rather cryptic in some of the puzzles, and you will find yourself wondering what the item you have just picked up is actually for. I got a kick out of this, as it did make me think outside of the box, and there was one puzzle with a coin that needed to be thrown at the door, which had me pretty stumped for a while until I literally tried everything in the room I could with the damn coin. I get why this is not for everyone, but I thought that it was fun in an old school kind of way.

Lewd Noir!

What they have done with the visuals here is awesome. There are a lot of very well-done animated sex scenes, and I like most of the character designs. However, there is a kind of film noir/cyberpunk/retro vibe about the game that is hard to pigeonhole, as it is like a melding of many different genres. It was like they created all the game assets and then put some kind of comic book filter over everything. Look, I get that I am doing a horrible job of describing the visuals, but trust me when I tell you that I think they look fantastic.

Mindweaver Chronicles is an erotic point-and-click game in which players get the chance to solve puzzles and embark on numerous sexual adventures. The main character possesses an unusual gift - she can take on the form of any creature. At the same time, she senses her conversation partner’s sexual desires, and her appearance perfectly matches their deepest fantasies. Thanks to this ability, she gets the chance to join a powerful corporation and get closer to the ruling elite. But to do so, she’ll have to have sex with a lot of people - in strip clubs, at parties, in the woods, and even right out on the street. All animated scenes are saved to the gallery, where you can watch them countless times.
