Motel: A Son and Brother Story

Let me start by saying that Motel: A Son and Brother Story is a game that certainly has its moments. I have been following this for quite a while and the developer has even put up a survey asking fans if they think if the game should be continued to be made, I clicked yes by the way as I think with some fine tuning and perhaps some kind of editor, this could be a fun and very hot lewd kinetic visual novel.

A Very Taboo Relationship!

I will give you some advice, do not take the plot of Motel: A Son and Brother Story seriously and you will have a much better time with it. We have this very hot character called Sophia who along with a young man that she is the guardian of realizes they have some serious sexual tension after trying clothes on in a store! A brake down on the way home and some tough decisions about what to do lead to lots and I mean lots of XXX events!

The Who, What, Why & Where!

I think as far as a premise goes, Motel: A Son and Brother Story is pretty solid, the developer had something going on here, and while the writing is full of mistakes. I think that it could have been a fun taboo style of story. However, the story quickly gets out of hand, almost like they were trying to throw as much stuff at the wall as possible to see what sticks! It makes things hard to follow and I will admit that eventually, I was just clicking through to get to the next lewd scene. It is a shame too as I felt that the story started out pretty strong and I was interested to see where it would go.

The Getting It On!

One thing that I am pretty sure we can all agree on is that Motel: A Son and Brother Story has some very hot character renders. I fell in lust with Sophia pretty much right from the start and even when she is clothed, she looks great. Some of the other characters you meet along the way are a bit on the ugly side, but the ladies all look great. There is a decent amount of lewd content here, but one of the things I got a kick out of was when they were banging, they had porn on the TV and it was actual porn, this was kind of fun and something that took me by surprise.

Getting To The Good Stuff

As Motel: A Son and Brother Story is a kinetic visual novel, the gameplay here is pretty much turning the game on and then clicking to move to the next scene. Hey, if the story and the characters are engaging enough and the developer has a clear vision for where they want the story to go, this can be great. However, as I said, the story is all over the place, and even if you go into it with an open mind and do not take it seriously, the story is very hard to follow and care about. I think adding choices into the mix would only confuse things so I think it is a huge positive that this is a kinetic visual novel if I am being honest with you.

Pros:

• Sophia is hot
• Even with her clothes on Sophia is very easy on the eyes
• I got a kick out of the real porn scenes that were used
• The game can be played by just clicking one button

Cons:

• The story is very, very hard to follow
• The characters are nearly impossible to care about as the writing makes very little sense
