My Second Family

Today we are checking out My Second Family which is a charming lewd game that may not be the greatest ever made, but I had fun with it while it lasted. I really wanted to get my thoughts out there about this as it is something I think more of my fellow lewd gamers will like if they are willing to give it a chance. I am sure many of you guys were attracted to this by those big anime eyes that the characters have.

From Japan To America

The story that My Second Family is telling is kind of fun and it does have a bit of “incest” going on, but it is not as bad as I have experienced in many other games. Basically, we play as an MC who has moved from Japan to America to live with his aunt and his two cousins that moved there a few years earlier. While his uncle is away on business, the MC steps up to become the “man” of the house and make sure that all the ladies' needs are being met if you know what I am saying! It is a story that is not taking itself too seriously and that is something I do like.

Making The Right Moves

I guess I would have to describe the gameplay of My Second Family as that of a lewd sandbox style of game. You will have to go to various areas, talk to characters, make choices, and so on. From what I experienced, some of the choices did feel like they mattered so I do think I may go back and give this a second play at some point. Getting through the actual story does not take much time, what does is the mini games!

Grinding That Skip Button

One of the main complaints I have heard about My Second Family is that the mini games are very grinding and I can see where people are coming from. One has you at the gym has you having to spam the buttons to workout and the other has you at work which is kind of like a rhythm-based game. Neither game is bad and actually, break up the other stuff you have to do quite well. The problem is the amount of time you have to do these mini-games! I think that less is more would have been a better approach or even if they added one or two variations to it.

It’s The Eyes, Always The Eyes

I love the visuals of My Second Family; the anime style look to the characters is awesome and I like how big and bright the character's eyes are. I think that the lewd content we have here is pretty great, not just in regards to the actual sex, but the voyeur type stuff that is going on too, when the MC is on his computer, for example, it is pretty impressive what he is looking at on there if you catch my drift.

Pros:

• I liked the bright and anime style of the visuals
• The lewd content here is fantastic
• I liked the amusing story that was being told here
• I think they tried to make the gameplay interesting

Cons:

• While the mini-games start off fun, you do have to replay them a lot
• The incest thing in the story may be off putting for some people
