My Very Own Lith

As far as text base lewd games go, My Very Own Lith is right up there as one of the very best. I will warn you right now that this is a game that is well and truly going to play with your emotions and if you are just looking for a quick game to get your rocks off too, this is not for you. This actually stuck with me for a day or two after I beat it and there are not too many games, especially lewd ones that have a story that has that kind of impact on me. Trust me when I tell you, you are best knowing as little about this game as possible before jumping in.

Soul Mates

The premise of My Very Own Lith is that we come across a character called Lith. Now, you can decide if Lith is either a cat boy or a cat girl, it is up to you, I went for the cat girl approach and if I am honest, I am not sure how much difference it makes to the story. This is a very emotional kind of game as while you get to have your fun with Lith, that is not really what the story in this game is all about. They are going for something far more “hitting you in the feels” than just trying to get laid.

Welcome To The Void!

The idea is that in My Very Own Lith, you get to know Lith on a very personal level and perhaps end up with someone to spend your time with in this deep white void that you are stuck in. Lith will tell you their backstory which can be quite heartbreaking and there were a few moments where I was legit shocked at what I was reading and kind of sad and bummed out! I do not mean that in a bad way as this is a game that takes you on an emotional roller coaster and it does it very well. The character creation thing here is also really cool, giving you a lot of choices for a text based game.

Pressing The Right Buttons

As My Very Own Lith is a text based kind of game, most of what you will be doing here is reading paragraph after paragraph of text. The story is very engaging, but some shorter paragraphs would have made reading a bit easier. You have a series of buttons on the bottom of the screen that are used to interact with the story and these will change as needed. It is very simple to figure out and more often than not, I would have to think really hard about the choices I was making. You have a points/arousal system that is on the left of the screen.

Substance Over Style

In all, I do like the whole style of My Very Own Lith, as this is a text based game, there is not a ton to the presentation, but I do like the design of Lith and the little bit of stuff that we do see is pretty fun and well drawn. I think the look of the game is designed to fit in with the more serious and harder hitting story that is going on. As I said in the intro, this is not the kind of game you will play if you just want a bunch of hardcore sex scenes!

Pros:

• I loved the story that this game told
• It is a very emotional and deep kind of story
• The character creation stuff is fun and way deeper than you would think
• It is the kind of game that is great to talk about with others

Cons:

• Some of the stuff is pretty dark and heartbreaking
• You have to be into text based games to enjoy this
