Rebels of the College

Wow, I came into Rebels of the College with not much in the way of expectations, but I can hand on my heart say that this is one of my favorite lewd games of the year so far. It is a college story which I am sure that you have played through a million times before in various other lewd games, but there is a real charm to the story that this game is telling and I was pulled into its world pretty much right from the start.

Fast Times At This College!

I think what I liked best about the story that was being told in Rebels of the College was that it reminded me of an 80s or 90s college comedy movie that I would have rented back in the day. Our MC is at this rather stuffy college and there is this asshole rich kid that thinks he runs the place. Our MC is more of an everyman and he is starting up a new club that may be just what is needed to take this rich kid down a peg or two.

Don’t You Forget About Me

What I really enjoyed about the story was that it was very character driven. There are some really fun and awesome characters in the game and the MC that we play as in Rebels of the College is a bit on the goofy side and totally the kind of guy you could see being a leading man in an 80s or 90s college comedy. I enjoyed the way that the story flowed and it had a great sense of humor, but never went too over the top with silliness or anything stupid.

Just Like Warm American Pie

The presentation of Rebels of the College is very well done. The game certainly has that college campus look and feel to it and the character renders for the most part are very well done. I am actually quite impressed with the different facial looks the characters have which goes a long way to help get you invested in what they are saying and doing. In terms of the lewd content in the game, this is dished out at a pretty fair rate and it is very well done and plenty hot and steamy as well!

Toga, Toga, Toga!

Ok, so there are no Animal House style toga parties in Rebels of the College, but the gameplay is something that clicked with me and something I wish more lewd games of this style would do. This is best described as a lewd visual novel. It does have some point-and-click style elements to it as well, but there is no grinding or anything like that. There is clicking on various areas and so on, but no convoluted gameplay that you can often get in lewd sandbox style games.

Pros:

• From the start, I was hooked on this game
• The MC is a good dude to play as
• I liked most of the characters, even the jerks!
• The whole game is just very well designed from the start to end

Cons:

• Some may not like all of the humor
• I am not sure I can think of another con for this game!
