Room to Rent

Room to Rent is an interactive visual novel by Patreon-indie developer NERDWORKS, where a bald and burly man rents a room from a grown woman and her shy daughter.

Character traits and appearance of the main character

The main character is an athletic bald kid who has the demeanor of a monkey. It is unknown how he was raised by his parents, but he spits down on people's opinions. When something is said to him, he doesn't listen to the words, but he does it out of spite. When asked to do something, he agrees and promises, but then he forgets wholeheartedly. His name is Nick.

Nick has had his head trimmed to zero and is now completely bald. He has a wiry and athletic body. The man has great physical strength, so he is not afraid of anyone, even bodybuilders. Nick wears a tank top with straps, which shows his shoulders to everyone. His neck is not thin either, the evidence of his strength. He wears sports clothes all the time to make him more comfortable: being a fashionista is not his favorite thing.

A young thug looking for a place to live, and he finds it

And so this young thug has been looking for a place to live for a long time. One family just wants to rent a room, because they need the money. Not everyone would agree to let a stranger into their home, so mother and daughter were constantly talking and wondering if they should take someone into the empty room. Nick really got lucky and grinned a couple of smiles, paid a month's rent in advance, and started living in his new closet.

An ordinary nice room - ample space, a bed, a computer desk, closets, two soft carpets. Cozy? The kitchen and bathroom are always clean and tidy. However, Nick decided not to express his gratitude:

• Drinking beer and stacking bottles in the room. The smell of beer stretched throughout the house.
• He had a constant mess. Bedding crumpled, sneakers by the bed, rarely vacuumed, clothes on the floor
• He always had a cheeky way of answering the landlady

This behavior frightened the landlady and there was no way she could evict Nick.

Gameplay

This is where the gameplay begins. Nick tries to remove the pantyhose from the landlady and her modest virgin daughter. Ever liberated since childhood and a bit of a stickler for the feelings of others, he successfully manages to get under the skirts of these girls. Gameplay is made up of Nick's interactions with his real estate roommates and their lustful adventures. The player will have to blackmail a grown woman and discreetly manipulate her daughter - you want a woman's warmth, right? Then do whatever it takes.

The gameplay itself is almost no different from other games of the genre. The player looks at the pictures and flips through them. It is also possible to choose an action (usually from two or three options). There are also Point-and-click elements: for example, Nick is looking for the right items in the room and clicks on them to be able to go further in the story.
