Red Lucy

I am someone that loves a good lewd visual novel and Red Lucy is one that has well and truly captured my imagination. I will warn you guys that the version I played and I am talking about here today is not yet complete, the developer is doing a wonderful job, but at the moment we just have a couple of chapters to enjoy. Think of it as kind of like an extended demo, but by the time you are reading it, hopefully, more content will have been added. Still, even in this unfinished state, this is a game that could not be any easier for me to recommend to you.

Keeping It All In The Family

At the moment as of me writing this Red Lucy has a plot that I am still unsure of where it is going to go, but I mean that in a good way as the suspense and sexual tension are handled perfectly and I legit want to know more! We play as a young man that has moved in with his grandfather, but we have a rather unusual relationship with our sister and aunt! Not to mention the other ladies in this place seem to have a rather unnatural liking towards us!

A Mystery In The Making

On the surface, Red Lucy could have ended up being nothing more than a traditional incest kind of story, but the way this is going about things is quite unique. You see, sexual tension is something that this game has by the bucket load and once you play the game, you will get an idea of what I am talking about. While the whole family dynamic is at the front and center of what I have experienced so far, there is also this mystery about what really happened to our parents that I am interested in getting to the bottom of.

Just Like A Real Page Turner!

One of the things that I think is great about Red Lucy is that on paper, we have a pretty standard lewd visual novel from a gameplay point of view. The reason that I say this is because the gameplay just consists of reading the story and then following it and getting invested. I know that some people need a lot of choices to make in a lewd visual novel to feel engaged, but for me, I would much rather have a clear and coherent story than one with a million paths that are of varying degrees of quality if you know what I am saying!

Getting Both Parts Right!

Usually, when I talk about the presentation of a lewd game like Red Lucy, I tend to focus on the visuals. The visuals here are great by the way, with amazingly detailed character models that have a bit more “realism” about them compared to what you usually get in a lewd visual novel. The XXX content, even in this unfished state is fantastic as it is animated and animated very smoothly too. However, as good as this game looks, the sound is also amazing. I would go as far as to say that this game has one of the best soundtracks I have ever had the pleasure of listening to in a lewd game! It is these amazing acoustic covers that complement the story and the visuals very well.

Pros:

• The story is very well told and has a really slow burn to it
• The sexual tension in this game is through the roof!
• It has some amazing character renders and epic XXX scenes
• I was blown away by how much I loved the soundtrack

Cons:

• The game as of me writing this is not yet complete
• It may be lacking in the choices department for some people

Red Lucy is a visual erotic novel about a guy, a strange roommate, and unexplained events that reveal secrets. The hero lives his life in the house of a taciturn grandfather, and the perpetually coughing roommate does not make the routine one bit better. As time goes on, however, the neighbor's oddly perfect girlfriend begins to show unequivocal attention, and old secrets surface.
