When you inherit a vast estate from your grandfather, the last thing you expect is to find 5 incredibly sexy men bleeding in a pile on the floor. That’s the situation main character Mika Anderson finds herself in at the opening of Seduce Me the Otome, an exciting visual novel released in 2015.

These 5 gorgeous men aren’t normal men, of course. They’re actually incubi. Demons are pursuing them, and they ended up in Mika’s mansion because it was the closest shelter they could find. They beg Mika to let them stay, and offer to help maintain the mansion in exchange for the shelter.

Mika agrees, mostly because she has no way to maintain the mansion by herself, and the story begins.

Sexiest voice actors ever

The voice actors of this visual novel are heart meltingly good, and this coupled with some very well done mature scenes make this novel one of the hottest out there. If you’re reading this Otome novel for a great romance, you’ll fall in love with their voices as much as the characters themselves.

Generous number of routes

On top of the 5 datable incubi, you can also seduce a few other characters in the game, including women. In fact, one of the most refreshing features of this game is that you can do almost anything you can think of in the game. Want to dance to your father’s tune and become the CEO of their toy company after all? There’s a route for that. Want to sacrifice all and become a demoness? You guessed it, there’s a route for that too. In this way, it’s similar to Magical Diary, another reverse haram otome.

These routes are considerably shorter than the 5 main routes, but if you’re bi or just want to explore more options, this is a great game to try.

Somewhat repetitive

After you play through your first route, you may notice that many of the lines in the following routes are the same. Seduce Me the Otome is a free game, so it’s understandable that they didn’t have the time or funds to create original content all the way through each route—but it is noticeable. The best way to get the most enjoyment out of it is to play your favorite character first, so it’s fresh and new for you, and then branch out from there.

Sex scenes are skippable

This Otome is a romance, and it definitely keeps things hot for those who want it. If you just want a great romance and don’t want the sex scenes, this game allows you to skip sexual content without missing anything important to the plot itself. This is a really nice and thoughtful touch to the game. Although most people reading a romance are looking for those sex scenes, it gives readers the freedom to choose.
