S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale

S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale is one of those games that I have been meaning to get around to playing for ages now. Thanks to a steam gift card from a friend and this being on sale, I decided to take the plunge and I had a freaking awesome time with it! I am actually kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to play this. You know that this is clearly a parody of a popular game series, of which there have been many, but this is probably the best parody of that particular game series I have experienced so far.

A Real XXX Fallout!

Ok, so you have probably already figured out that S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale is clearly a parody of the Fallout series. I have played probably at least a dozen lewd parodies of that series and this one really ranks up close to, if not at the very top. You pretty much do the kind of things that you would expect in a fallout game such as meeting other survivors, managing your shelter/base, exploring the wasteland for supplies, and so on. It's just this is all done with a very XXX twist!

Managing Your Settlement!

The premise of S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale is pretty much what you would expect. The world has been ripped apart and most of the things on the surface are dead or mutated to hell, but you are one of a group of lucky survivors that gets to call a “safe” underground shelter your new home. You are in charge of this place and it is up to you how you want to run things. The game is very story driven, but I would say the story is more about your relationship with the various characters that you come across than some big over arcing story, but I am more than ok with it. I found the game to have a bit of humor and satire about it too which I enjoyed.

Who Knew The End of the World Could Look So Good?

While I have played many Fallout parodies, S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale is easily the best looking one that I have played. I was shocked at how many great looking ladies that there were for us to try and hook up with! They are of all shapes and sizes to ranging from a super hot milf, a tight bodied tee, a mutated hottie, and everything in between! The game has a very slick animated art style to it that completely blew me away. It even has animated sex scenes of which there are a ton! I played through the game twice and got very few repeat scenes so that tells you how much content there is!

Making The Right Decisions For Humanity And Your Sexual Desires!

What we have here with S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale as far as the gameplay goes is a lewd visual novel and it is a fantastic one at that. You read the story and then make choices. There are what feel like a ton of choices to be made and at least ten different women that you can try and romance. This gives the game a ton of replay value as the girls are for the most part all interesting. I like this, it is a prime example of how to do a lewd visual novel right as the choices are fun to make and feel like they matter.

Pros:

• This is the best lewd Fallout parody you will ever play
• I love the animated visuals
• The game has many different romance options
• The story is fun and legit interesting

Cons:

• I guess if you are not a huge Fallout fan it may not be quite as funny or cool
• This being fully voice acted would have made it one of the greatest lewd visual novels of all time!

S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale is an erotic visual novel that tells the story of a post-apocalyptic survivalist asylum. The apocalypse wiped out half the population, but those lucky enough to survive are left to survive in the expanse of destroyed biomes. The protagonist and a group of survivors were able to find shelter in a safe haven.
