An Epic Story

The first and primary portion of Sugoi Adventure! DragonSlayer is, of course, the adventure. Thrown into a fantasy world, you will be taken on a thrill ride that will tell of great battles, fearsome foes, and maybe even a few vixens along the way. Every step of the way, you will be faced with decisions that will determine the outcome of the story.

It won’t always be clear how a choice will affect the flow of the story, so you might have to play through the game more than once to see all of the possible outcomes. Some might call that an inconvenience, but it seems more like replay value. And, while most games of this type can be overly serious, Sugoi Adventure! DragonSlayer does not take itself seriously. In fact, it’s actually quite hilarious!

Character Management

As you unravel the story, some decisions will come at a cost. Not a monetary cost, mind you, but instead the cost of some of your stats. In Sugoi Adventure! DragonSlayer, you’ll need to carefully balance your money, health, stress, and fame in order to become the hero you are meant to be. This won’t always be easy, and there are certainly hard decisions to make (even if the outcome is hilarious), but the path of a hero was never going to be easy.

Sometimes, the right choice, or the choice you want to make at the time, won’t be possible because you don’t have the right stats for it. This is again where a replay would come in. Also, you’ll meet new characters throughout the game that you can then add to your party, who will also help you with certain decisions throughout. Make your choices, gather your adventure cards, and make sure you’re always ready for anything.

Multiple Endings

As with any game that features this level of player choice, Sugoi Adventure! DragonSlayer has a bevy of alternate endings that players can experience depending on the choices they made in the game.
