Tales of the Exiled

I came across Tales of the Exiled recently and was blown away by the incredible visuals so I decided to give it a try. I was a little bummed out to realize that the game is abandoned and that there appears to be no plans from the developer to get this thing back on track. Now, there is still plenty of gameplay here to get into so it is not as if it is a complete waste of time. However, when I was playing this, I kept thinking that it was a huge missed opportunity as I feel that if they had fine tuned some things and fixed others, this could have been a must play lewd RPG.

The After Effects Of The Great War!

The setting of Tales of the Exiled is really cool and the developer cites Baulder’s Gate as the inspiration for the world, story, and general setting and that is pretty cool. There was a great war that was waged over 200 years ago and in the after effects of that, the world has seen a whole bunch of diverse races rise up. We have demonic creatures, beings with magical powers and we also have goblins and that is the race that our MC in the game is from. I really think that the world here had a lot of potential to be a real fantasy epic.

A Quest Fit For A Goblin!

The MC in Tales of the Exiled that we play as is a young goblin called Luga. Luga has found himself banished from his goblin tribe! He is setting out on an epic quest to find this relic that is called the Alchemist’s Stone. It is said that those who find this can have unlimited power and a little goblin with unlimited power would be able to stand up to his tribe and also find out more about who he really is. As the game is not finished, we never get a conclusion in regards to little Luga’s quest, but I think if you enjoy fantasy, you will like the story that was being set up here.

Stunning On Their Own!

Now, when talking about the visuals of Tales of the Exiled it is a real double edge sword for me. This game has some of the most beautiful looking fantasy babes that I have ever seen. They have these massive over the top boobs but they work! The ladies are truly incredible and a reason enough to play the game in my humble opinion. Now, for me, I hate seeing gross monsters banging hot women, it just creeps me out and that is pretty much what we have here. I liked Luga as a character, but he is ugly as sin and seeing him get to have his way with these hotties was not something I loved seeing.

An Epic Grind Of Epic Proportions

I do have to say again that Tales of the Exiled never got finished so the problems I have with this lewd RPG could have been fixed had the developer stuck with. The game has you go to towns, talk to people and get into fights. The combat is where the problem is. You see, it is turn based which I am ok with. However, it is so hard, like unfairly hard! The enemies take way too much damage to kill and they dish out heavy damage, even the basic wolves take an age to beat. The problem is the way you level up is so slow and your attacks do not seem to do any more damage as you level up! I am sure this would have been fine tuned if it continued to be developed, but as it is, it makes progression very, very slow.

Pros:

• This game has some of the hottest fantasy babes
• The setting of the game is great
• I liked the fantasy story that was being told
• Luga is a pretty cool little goblin character

Cons:

• The combat is so unbalanced that it makes progression a real chore
• I am never a fan of an ugly monster banging a hot chick
