I like farming games and I like lewd games so VillageRhapsody feels like a game that was made with me in mind. I know that there are plenty of lewd farming games out there, but this one really did catch my eye. As I write this, we have a game here that is still in fairly early access so there is not exactly a ton of content here. However, updates will come and I do feel that for the asking price, what you are getting here is pretty damn good and will keep you busy for a short while.

What A Guy!

The whole premise of VillageRhapsody is pretty much typical of any farming style game. We are in this little rural village/town and we are tasked with building it up, growing food, and trying to make friends. However, as this is a lewd farming game, you are also on the lookout to help out any lonely and sexy widows and housewives that might need a little attention if you know what I am saying. It is a kind of “slice of life” thing where you just go day by day and try to make things better…. And hornier!

One Problem At A Time!

The first aspect of the gameplay of VillageRhapsody is what I like best about this game. You will get to talk to the ladies of this place and they will have various jobs for you that you can undertake. This is how you build up a relationship with them and how you will eventually get them to open up their hearts, minds, soul…... and legs! There is not a ton of variety to the missions you can do for people as I write this, but it is basically stuff like, go and do this, get that, fix this, and so on. Very typical of a farming style game, only we get laid in this one.

Exploring The Land

Of course, the social part of the VillageRhapsody gameplay is not all you have in order to keep you busy. You need to tend to your garden by planting, growing, and harvesting crops. You also have to go fishing and explore the land and there is this thing where you can find the “secrets” of families which is a very interesting premise and something that I hope will be expanded upon as the development of the game continues. Pretty much what you would expect to be in a framing game is here in some capacity.

Like A Valley Called Stardew

The presentation of VillageRhapsody is something that I like and clearly, Stardew Valley is the inspiration here. It has a very similar style, but instead of the pixel art style that game went for. We have a kind of anime lite thing going on here and I really do like it. The game has a good look to it and there are various character portraits and sex scenes that are done in a much higher quality kind of style and they look fantastic. I hope that they do add more of these lewd scenes to the game as development continues as they are like a nice little treat when you complete a mission.

Pros:

• I like the idea of “helping” widows and wives
• The game has a very cool anime kind of style to the visuals
• The XXX content in the game is something that I thought was great
• At its core, this is a fun and interesting lewd farming game

Cons:

• The game needs more content as you can see all it has to offer fairly quickly
• You need to be into farming games to appreciate this

VillageRhapsody is one of the best lewd farming games you will ever play, it is also one of the freaking weirdest too! I had a great time with this game, I texted my buddy right away, telling him that he needed to play this. Fast forward a couple of hours later and I get a text back saying “This is awesome”. If you love farming games and lewd games, you are in for a hell of a fun time with this game. It is probably going to be on my list of the best lewd games of the year.

Harvesting For The Moon For The Valley Below!

Look, VillageRhapsody is clearly taking a great deal of inspiration from popular farming games like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon, I feel that it more leans towards the Stardew Valley style of farming. It is all done with its tongue firmly in cheek. The story is not going to blow you away, but we play as a very handyman that is helping get this village on its feet by building stuff, tending to plants, catching fish, and of course, making sure the ladies are sexually satisfied!

Wait… What!

Remember how I said that VillageRhapsody was weird? Well, let me explain. When I first saw a trailer for this, I saw our dude banging hot chicks, but also some that looked like monster girls’ too. I thought that this was the best of both worlds as monster girls have always been a kink of mine. However, in this game, we take some kind of drug that makes us see these farm animals as monster girls. I am still not 100 percent certain if they turned into monster girls, we imagined the whole thing……. Or we were so high we banged the farm animals! No matter what, it was hilarious.

Things And People To Do!

If you are someone that enjoys the grind and the repetitiveness of farming games like the aforementioned, Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon, VillageRhapsody is going to be something you love. We have to tend to the ground, plant the seeds, water them, get wood, build stuff, and even fish. Oh, we also have to do stuff for the ladies of the town and get into their panties as well. Each lady has a series of quests that you will need to do and the whole game is formulated in a way that it has a very relaxing kind of vibe to it. Some may say that it is a bit grindy, but I never got bored here and found it a game I could play, and then a couple of hours zoomed by.

A Lewd Slice Of Life

So far, everything we have talked about today makes VillageRhapsody a game that is a must play and we are adding one more thing to the list and that is the visuals. This game is stunning! I have played many lewd games over the last couple of years where Stardew Valley is clearly the inspiration for the visuals. This game looks great, the actual “game” has a fun, friendly, and easy on the eyes style that I like. The lewd content here is great, we have tons of sex scenes with actual women that are all animated and look awesome. We also have those rather strange monster girl (or just farm animal) sex scenes that are all done very well too.

Pros:

• I loved the whole easy going nature of the game
• There are some very sexy characters in this game and lots of animated sex scenes
• The gameplay loop has a very satisfying feel to it
• This is one of the best lewd farming games I have played

Cons:

• For the life of me, I could not get my controller to work with this game
• The stuff with the monster girls/animals is super weird and may turn some people off
