Xenotake

Xenotake is a hentai shooter that is the kind of game that at first may make you roll your eyes, but this is actually a pretty fun game that is worth checking out. If you want a hentai game that is not short on the actual “game” part then you are just the kind of person that a game like this is aimed at.

Stop The Aliens

The story that is being told here is not exactly going to be winning any awards for originality, but that does not exactly make it a bad thing now does it? The game has you playing as a sexy space marine who is also a rookie and who is also tasked with putting a stop to these aliens that do not just want to “invade” our planet, they want to “invade” all the girls if you know what I am saying. It is worth noting that Xenotake is in Japanese so I am not 100 percent sure what is exactly going on. However, due to the cutscenes and the way things unfold, you can pretty much figure it out.

Close Encounters Of The Boobie Kind

A hentai game has to look good and thankfully this is the case with this game. The main character looks great has a great body and she has big boobs as you would expect. The thing with the visuals of Xenotake is that you have the female human characters who are sexy and look great, as well as have bouncy boobs. Then you have these aliens that are grotesque and kind of scary looking. It is a mix that manages to work quite well.

One other thing I have to talk about in terms of the visuals is the camera. This is a 2D game so I am not talking about issues with the camera. In some parts of the game, it feels like the camera is very close to our main character. This is something I actually liked as it gives you a much better view of her and you can really appreciate the artwork on offer here.

Samus, She Is Not

The gameplay in Xenotake is not a Metroid clone like you may think. Actually, this game is pretty linear in its level design. You go from point A to point B and fight a boss here and there and kill a ton of enemies as you go. It is not the most “advanced” game on offer, but as far as hentai games go, I have played a lot worse.

The shooting mechanics work fine enough and some of the enemies do provide a bit of a challenge in order to defeat them. One interesting thing is that the hentai scenes give you a little bit of control over them which I thought was a nice touch. There is not a great deal to the gameplay here, but what is here is decent enough.

Pros:

• I liked the design of the main character
• The sci-fi setting was something I thought was cool
• The presentation is great and I like how large the characters are
• The alien designs are really gross looking and I love that!
• As a shooter, it is not a bad experience at all

Cons:

• There is no a great deal of depth to the gameplay
• So far there is no English translation
