Business of Loving

While Business of Loving states that it is an adult visual novel, I would put it more in the category of a sandbox game. This is a game that will probably capture most people’s attention because of the animated style artwork that it has going on. I have to say that while I love realistic looking chicks in my games, they feel like they are a dime a dozen these days so when something like this comes along it is always likely to grab my attention.

What Is Going On?

On paper, I feel that Business of Loving has a pretty fun premise. Our main character is a guy that wants to make waves in the business world and make a ton of money in the process. However, he has to deal with his intimidating boss, ladies at home, and ladies all over the town as well. I think if the story had stayed focused on just this that it could have been a lot of fun. The problem is the story makes very little sense and there is not much story actually explaining things at all. After about 30 minutes, I was pretty much completely lost in regards to what certain characters' motivations were. It is like one random sexual encounter goes to the next.

Sticking With What Works

What I feel is the biggest problem Business of Loving has is the actual game itself. As I said, the developer says that this is a visual novel and to be honest, I never played this in one of its earlier releases so it could have been at the start. However, the version of the game that I played had these very annoying sandbox elements to it. You have to click around each screen and character about a million times, hoping that you hit the right thing so that the game can progress. It all feels very random and nothing seems logical. Thankfully, I was able to see a great deal of lewd content by doing this, but I was never having all that much fun while I was playing the game.

I Like It Simple!

As far as the presentation of Business of Loving goes, I think that it has a lot of charm, and the way the game looks and the fun lewd content are the real driving force behind this game. It has a kind of simple animated TV show to it and I got a real kick out of that. The game looks fun and that was what I really liked about it.

There is also a very decent amount of lewd content that is well done and animated. Plus, I spent a couple of hours with the game and I ended up seeing the majority of the lewd content in that time so it is not a huge time sink.

Pros:

• I liked the older lady that you lived with
• There is a real charm to the way that the game looks
• I like how it has a low-budget animated TV show look to it
• It does not take long to see all of the lewd content

Cons:

• The story makes no sense and feels very random
• The sandbox elements in the gameplay are not thought out well at all!
